  • Patent number: 8331073
Abstract: An electromagnetic pulse protection circuit having wave filtering functions, composed of an inductor free slow response protection circuit and a fast response protection circuit, and a filter is series-connected on a signal transmission route, and is utilized to provide impedance in effectively preventing electromagnetic pulses caused by lightning (LS) or other electronic weapon (NEMP, HEMP, PEMP) interferences. In addition, it is capable of suppressing electromagnetic pulses at specific frequencies, thus, raising the capability of electronic elements in resisting against electromagnetic pulses. Furthermore, said filter is made of high-temperature-super-conduction (HTSC) material, so that when said HTSC material of said filter is subject to a sudden infusion or invasion of said electromagnetic pulses, it is switched to a high impedance state in a very short period of time in effectively restricting currents passing through said filter, hereby avoiding the damages of a communication system.

  • Patent number: 8327561
Abstract: An internally illuminated footwear has a light source shining into a translucent component. Boundary sections are created in the translucent component and are arranged to create various visuals, such as designs and logos. The boundary sections are formed by cavities which cut into the translucent component. Abrasive surfaces may be added to the cavities, or replace the cavities and be added to the surface of the translucent component. The cavities may be filled with a boundary material. Bubbles can be formed within the boundary sections and the translucent component. Light waves originate at the light source and travel through the translucent component. Due to different refractive indices, a light wave will be refracted as it encounters cavities in the boundary sections. The refracting light wave will then appear to originate at the cavities. In this manner, the cavities will appear to have their own individual illuminating source.

  • Patent number: 8329879
Abstract: H3LMN series compounds used as radioactive agents for treatment of liver cancer and a manufacturing method thereof are revealed. 2-thioethylamine hydrochloride is reacted with triphenylmethanol for protection of thiol to obtain 2-[(triphenylmethyl)thio]ethylamine. Then obtain N-[2-((triphenylmethyl)thio)ethyl]chloroacetamide by a transamidation reaction between 2-[(triphenylmethyl)thio]ethylamine and chloroactyl chloride. Next produce a amine-amide-thiol ligand-N-[2-((triphenylmethyl)thio)ethyl][2-((triphenylmethyl)thio)ethylamino]acetamide by a substitution reaction of N-[2-((triphenylmethyl)thio)ethyl]chloroacetamide and 2-[(triphenylmethyl)thio]ethylamine. After respective reaction with 1-bromotetradecane, 1-bromohexadecane and ethyl 16-bromohexadecanoate, H3LMN series compounds are obtained. These amine-amide-dithiols quadridentate ligands can react with MO3+ (M=Tc or Re) to produce electrically neutral complexes.
