  • Patent number: 6488150
Abstract: A method and system for bundling elongated material surrounded with a plurality of binding frames, each binding frame having vertical and horizontal members attached so as to form a rectangular shaped frame. The vertical and horizontal members are connected using corner jigs, each corner jig having a horizontal base adapted to receive a horizontal member and a vertical sleeve adapted to receive a vertical member. Each binding frame is then surrounded with a binding band adapted to hold the corner jigs and frames in place so as to maintain the elongated material in the bundle.

  • Patent number: 6453630
Abstract: A deck plank cover made from a plastic material, such as a wood composite, wherein the deck plank cover is designed to be affixed to the top surface of a preexisting deck plank. The deck plank cover is useful for repairing or protecting mildly deteriorated or deteriorating wooden deck planks of typical wooden decks. The deck plank cover may be affixed directly to the top surface of the existing wooden deck planks, and serves to substantially protect the wooden deck planks from further exposure to the elements. The deck plank cover of the present invention may also be applied to non-deteriorated wooden deck planks to prevent the onset of deterioration and to alleviate the need for treatment of the subjacent wooden deck planks with chemical preservatives. The deck plank cover preferably simulates the look of real wood, and may be produced in various cross-sectional shapes and sizes and from a variety of plastic materials.

  • Patent number: 6164308
Abstract: A method and device for transferring a multiphase flow to a predetermined location through a pipe. The multiphase flow is comprised of at least a liquid phase and a gas phase. The multiphase flow is provided to a flow divider that diverts a gas portion from the multiphase flow. A compressor and a pump are in fluid communication with the flow divider. The main gas portion is boosted by the compressor, and the residual liquid/gas portion is boosted by the pump. A recombination manifold then recombines the gas portion and the residual liquid portion. A single pipe receives the recombined multiphase flow and transfers it to a predetermined location.
