Abstract: A method of controlling a flying height of a magnetic head of a hard disk drive includes determining whether a difference between a measured flying height of the magnetic head measured by applying a burn-in FOD (flying on demand) voltage corresponding to a target flying height, according to a reference FOD voltage profile defining a relationship between the flying height of the magnetic head and the FOD voltage by which an end of the magnetic head thermally expands and thus protrudes, to a heater included in the magnetic head, and a burn-in flying height of the reference FOD voltage profile corresponding to the burn-in FOD voltage exceeds a preset reference, calculating a corrected FOD voltage for the target flying height by performing a touch down test of the magnetic head with respect to a disk, when the difference between the measured flying height of the magnetic head and the burn-in flying height exceeds the preset reference, and controlling a flying height of the magnetic head by applying the corrected
Abstract: A method of generating a help file used commonly in different models of image forming apparatuses includes reading a setting value indicating a function provided by one of the image forming apparatuses, setting a field value of a parameter corresponding to the read setting value, and configuring a help message based on the set field value of the parameter. A system to generate a help message includes a configuration module to determine identification information regarding each of a plurality of functions of an object included in one of software versions and characteristic data regarding the software version, and a universal help file including function descriptions for all of the software versions provided in a computer, receiving the identification information and the characteristic data, and generating the help message regarding the object using the function descriptions according to the identification information and the characteristic data.
Abstract: A method of rotating an image based on image data including a plurality of pixels per a line, the method including setting the number of pixel data forming the pixel; sequentially storing the pixel data in a first memory according to the order of the line and the pixel; calculating the number of entire image data on the basis of the number of pixel data, the line number of the image data, and the number of pixels per line; setting an image rotation angle; calculating a location value of each pixel data in a second memory on the basis of the number of pixel data per pixel, the line number of the image data, the number of pixels per line, and the number of the entire data by independent processes in consideration of the setting image rotation angle; and storing the image data from the first memory in the second memory on the basis of the calculated location value of each pixel data in the second memory with regard to each pixel data.
