Abstract: A stand device used in combination with a container such as a drum having substantially cylindrical configuration wherein at least two support legs are movable into and out of supporting relation. Each of the supporting legs comprises a configuration substantially corresponding to the exterior surface of the container such that in its non-supporting position, the legs are disposed in substantially flush engagement with the exterior surface due to an indentation formed in the exterior surface corresponding to the dimension and thickness of the leg means.
Abstract: A toy bank device as disclosed for receiving and depositing coins comprising a base member adapted for location on a substantially horizontal surface and including base member mounting means. The base member has a base member orifice for receiving and storing coins within the base member. A support member has securing means which is cooperable with the base member mounting means for establishing the support to extend from the base member. A coin insertion member mounted relative to the support member is adapted to receive and mechanically insert the coin into the base member orifice. The coin insertion member may be movably mounted for inserting the coin into the base member orifice upon movement of the coin insertion member. Each of the aforementioned members may be a die cut portion of a paper material with each of the members having tab means and slit means for enabling assembly of the members into a substantially rigid structure through cooperation of the tab means and the slit means.

Abstract: An improved bag supporting means is disclosed for gripping a marginal portion of the mouth of a bag comprising a substantially vertical upright peg fixed at its lower end to a support. A resilient locking ring having an inside diameter less than the diameter of the peg is adapted to be moved downwardly over the peg with the marginal portion of the bag being spread over the peg to hold the bag upon the peg. The locking ring may be affixed to the support by anchor means.
Abstract: An adjustable back support comprising a plurality of individual compartments which may be either equally or variably dimensioned to hold predetermined amounts of fluid therein. Fluid, either in the form of air or liquid, or both, are introduced into the fluid segregated compartments so as to expand the various compartments a predetermined amount in conformity to portions of a user's back. The compartments may be arranged in longitudinally aligned sets so as to provide greater versatility in conforming the individual portions or compartments of the back support to the body of the user. The valve assemblies may include both fluid and liquid flow valves such that heated fluid, either in the form of air or liquid, may be introduced into one or all of the various compartments to provide maximum comfort to the user.
Abstract: Water condensed from the air drawn over the refrigeration unit of an air conditioning system is collected and directed into a first chamber of a dual chamber reservoir where it is pumped through heat exchanger coils. The heat exchanger coils are placed upstream from the condenser and can be in thermally conductive contact with a fibrous heat exchanging air filter placed across the air intake port of the air-cooled refrigerant condenser for the system. The chilled condensate lowers the air intake temperature and if placed in thermally conductive contact with the filter, cools the filter also. The condensate is then directed to the top of the filter where it is poured onto the filter and allowed to flow down the fibrous surface, thereby evaporating. The latent heat of vaporization in this process further cools the filter which in turn, further reduces the air intake temperature.
Abstract: An air conditioning system capable of regulating the temperature of incoming air and further comprising safety features relating to the sensing of abnormal conditions within a room or like treated area concerning the detection of fire, smoke or abnormally high temperature conditions. The flow of air from the exterior of the system is directed to the interior of the room or area being conditioned by a fan or like blower element while being conditioned through direct exposure to hot or cold conditioning fluid. Safety features include sensing elements connected to a liquid spray assembly as well as the blower and air intake so as to determine the amount of incoming air pressure as well as regulate the delivery of certain safety liquids such as water, through the spray assembly.
Abstract: An inflatable aquatic device is disclosed comprising in combination plural aquatic members each having a plurality of flexible gas chambers for containing a gas and providing buoyancy. Each of the plural aquatic members includes a rigid frame having a plate region and a plurality of supports extending relative to the plate region. A system is provided for securing the rigid frame to the flexible gas chambers establishing plural substantially rigid aquatic members. Connectors interconnect the plural aquatic members to allow only limited relative movement therebetween. The invention may include a fabric material adapted to encompass the flexible gas chamber means having a plurality of fabric apertures for receiving the plurality of supports extending from the plate regions. The supports may include plural telescoping tubing members extending from the plate region to enable the pneumatic device to be stored in a relatively small area.
Abstract: An irrigation device in the form of an elongated conduit of predetermined length wherein the conduit comprises a one piece wall of plastic material formed by extrusion in a continuous length. The conduit comprises at least two compartments having specific relative dimensions and disposed in fluid communication with one another wherein the configuration and disposition of the two compartments are defined by the configuration of the single wall portion which is formed from the single piece of extruded material. Dispersion means in the form of a strip of elongated liquid permeable material is mounted within one of the compartments and configured to extend outwardly to the exterior of the conduit whereby liquid is dispersed through the two compartments to the exterior of the conduit through the liquid permeable dispersion element by a capillary-type action.
Abstract: A marine life growth inhibitor device is disclosed for inhibiting marine life on the outer surface of a submerged object such as a boat. The device includes a controller connected to a source of electrical power and a plurality of speakers electrically connected to the controller and attached at predetermined locations on the interior of the boat's hull, whereby vibrations may be transmitted through the hull. The controller may also include a transformer for reducing the voltage of the alternating current power source. Each of the plurality of speakers has a speaker diaphragm having a first and a second speaker diaphragm side. Each of the speakers is mounted in a speaker housing secured to the hull of the boat for enabling transfer of acoustical energy from both the first and second side of the speaker diaphragm to the boat hull to inhibit the growth of marine life on the exterior surface of the boat hull. The speakers are selected to produce acoustical vibration in the audible range.
Abstract: An endless belt sander comprising a drive pulley and an idle pulley to control an endless sanding or polishing belt having a length substantially longer than that required for surrounding the pulleys. The belt of any desired but applicable width and predetermined length is wrapped around a workpiece of limited accessibility, regardless of the diameter of such workpiece. The belt is kept from slipping on the drive pulley by use of a pressure pulley which forceably acts upon that portion of the belt engaging the drive pulley.
