  • Patent number: 4751399
Abstract: An automatic lighting device having a circuit for operating an electric light, a switch for manually actuating the circuit, a detector circuit for determining whether movement above a prescribed threshold level has occurred within the area covered by the electric light within a first preselected period, a circuit responsive to the detector circuit for disabling the circuit for providing electricity if movement has not occurred in the area during the first preselected period, and a circuit for reactivating the circuit for providing electricity in response to the detection of movement in the area within a second preselected period.

  • Patent number: 4744556
Abstract: An isometric chin, neck and jaw muscle exerciser is disclosed which includes a generally C-shaped structure having two free ends. One free end is adapted to fit within the mouth of the user, and the second free end fits under the chin. Weights are added to the structure to cause the second free end to press upward against the lower jaw and chin muscles, while at the same time exerting a resistance against the upper jaw muscles.

  • Patent number: 4745239
Abstract: A multiple wire joining device is disclosed which includes a generally tubular, deformable, electrically conductive housing having multiple apertures formed in the wall thereof. The apertures are axially spaced apart along the length of the housing and are each adapted to admit a wire therethrough so that it may entend axially along a length of the housing. The spacings between the apertures are sufficient to permit the admittance of a wire into the housing through each of the apertures a sufficient distance to enable the crimping of the housing adjacent each aperture to retain the respective wire therein.

  • Patent number: 4063402
Abstract: An apparatus for stuffing closed-end sleeve-like cloth forms with stuffing material in the form of cord or welting, by utilizing a feed tube having one end adapted for sliding the open end of the form thereon. A push rod with a barbed end is provided for inserting the stuffing material into the feed tube and filling the form while removing it from the tube. The push rod has a handle end with a surrounding trough portion with a cylindrical configuration for telescopic engagement with the feed tube during the form stuffing operation, the trough retaining the stuffing cord for successive operations.

  • Patent number: 4060930
Abstract: A toy airplane launcher having a launch platform adapted for supporting two toy airplanes, each of the airplanes having a rubber band engaging portion and a depending projection for abutting against an airplane engaging post positioned adjacent the surface of the launcher. A single trigger is provided for displacing the post relative to the platform for disengaging the airplane to permit it to be launched under the force of the rubber band. The platform, post, and trigger are so constructed to permit the sequential launching of the airplanes upon slow movement of the trigger and to provide virtually simultaneous launching upon rapid actuation of the trigger. In a first embodiment the airplanes are positioned along generally parallel runways with the airplane engaging posts for each airplane being offset from one another, the posts disengaging from the airplane as they move along a line perpendicular to the plane of the platform.

  • Patent number: 3986295
Abstract: A figurine is disclosed having an arm rotatably mounted to a torso; a hand carried on a shaft, which shaft is received within the hollow of the arm; means located within the hollow of the arm for latching said shaft in a first position and biasing means located within the hollow of said arm for urging sad shaft forward out of said hollow arm; and means responsive to manual actuation of a torso portion for unlatching said shaft to cause said hand to extend to a position remote from the end of said arm. A gauntlet of a sleevelike nature surrounds the arm and is coupled at an end to the hand so as to obstruct visibility of said shaft when said hand is in the extended position to thereby simulate an increase in length of said arm. Specific novel structure in the provided means is also disclosed.
