  • Patent number: 8297656
Abstract: In-line roller skate (1) comprising in-line wheels (2) around which travels an endless rolling support (4) of the belt type, having regular transverse notches (40). At least the rear wheel (24) is mounted in such a way as to allow horizontal sliding, and at least the front wheel (9) is mounted in such a way as to allow inclined forward sliding along an elongate slot opening (12) formed in the side walls (13, 14) of the frame (6), so that the tension in the rolling belt keeps the axis of rotation (5) of the wheel at the bottom end of the slot. At least one element (27) is in rolling bearing contact with the lower portion of the rolling belt. This belt is preferably cylindrical in section, with its inner surface (28) housed in mating grooves (3) around the perimeter of the wheels. The skate may include a stone guard (45).

  • Patent number: 8205582
Abstract: An exhaust check valve and piston return system wherein a main exhaust valve is opened as a result of combustion products from the combustion chamber being routed through a signal line. In addition, as a result of the opening of the main exhaust valve, an exhaust check valve, incorporated within a side wall portion of the cylinder housing at a location disposed downstream of the main exhaust valve, as considered in the direction of flow of the exhaust gases out from the combustion chamber, is forced to its open position so as to permit the combustion gases to be exhausted from the combustion chamber, thereby permitting the piston to move upwardly so as to complete its return stroke.

  • Patent number: 7979970
Abstract: Apparatus for repairing out-of-round cores, upon which strapping material has been coiled, when the core and coiled strapping material assembly has been deformed and is therefore no longer capable of being mounted upon strapping unwinding and dispensing apparatus. The repair apparatus comprises a pair of diametrically opposed, substantially semi-circular shoes which are mounted upon a pair of diametrically aligned rod members that are operatively connected together by means of a diametrically oriented expansion member. The apparatus is adapted to be disposed internally within the deformed core and coiled strapping material assembly, and when the expansion member is diametrically extended, the pair of semi-circular shoes will be forced into contact with the inner periphery of the deformed core and coiled strapping material assembly thereby returning the same to a truly round configuration.
