The cutting end and the writing end are removably rigidly connected, and either end can be modularly replaced. The system includes a kit comprising the tool with replacement blades and multiple markers, and a method of using the modular tool.

The brace permits dorsal/plantar flexion while supporting the ankle against supination and pronation. The apparatus and methods of manufacture are disclosed.
