Abstract: A continuous web of identical plastic parts is produced by molding a first unit comprising at least one of such parts in a mold, and connecting such molded part(s) to subsequent molded parts, by means of at least one runner upon which all the parts comprising the web are molded. The runner(s) connecting the parts may include indicia of data such as, indexing, information, part treatment information, assembly information, inventory information, etc.

Abstract: Apparatus for interfacing a battery powered photographic camera with a battery containing film cassette is disclosed. When the cassette is interfaced with the camera, electrical contacts in the camera engage the terminals of the cassette battery through access ports in the cassette housing. These access ports are provided with removable battery terminal masks to prevent accidental completion of an electrical circuit. The camera is equipped with enclosure means for receiving the cassette and with means associated therewith for removing the battery terminal masks so as to expose the terminals which can then engage the camera contacts for completion of an electrical circuit.

Abstract: Method for making sheet materials are disclosed having a layer or layers of a non-uniform thickness, in particular a method of making sheet materials tapered from a maximum thickness near one and to a minimum thickness near the opposite end; and sheet materials prepared by such methods. The preparation of photographic film assemblages is disclosed including a first sheet material including at least one photosensitive layer and a second sheet material in super position therewith, which assemblages are adapted for forming photographic images viewable as reflection prints without separation of the respective sheet materials.

Abstract: Novel polymeric derivatives of tetrazole-5-thiols and their metal and ammonium salts, and the preparation of such compounds which are useful as gelatin thickeners or in their production, are disclosed.
