  • Patent number: 6997729
Abstract: Each terminal (8) includes an upper arm portion (9), a middle arm portion (10), and a lower arm portion (11). A cam portion of the pressing portion member is supported and guided between the upper arm portion and the middle arm portion, so that the pressing portion member is movable between an open position and a closed position. A flat cable C is inserted between the middle arm portion and the lower arm portion. When the pressing portion member moves, the middle arm portion is pushed, so that the flat cable and a connecting portion of the middle arm portion are pressed and contacted. The lower arm portion (11) has a held portion (11A) at a base portion thereof to be held with a housing. • Patent number: 6999831
Abstract: A priority number of each combination of a manufacturing device and a step are first calculated by the equation=processing time×number of processible steps×number of usable devices. From the combination having the smallest priority number (i.e. highest priority), a lot will be allotted to the device for the step. The priority number is updated every after allotment of one lot by the equation=processing time×number of processible steps×number of usable devices×{(device load×10)k+1}. By repeating this procedure, all the lots scheduled to be processed are allotted to the corresponding devices. In addition, in the actual manufacturing process, whenever there is a lot that has to be processed, execution of processing such a lot is directed by successively selecting a device having the lowest accomplishment rate.

  • Patent number: 7000201
Abstract: An evaluation TEG for evaluating a semiconductor device including an SOI structure and a LOCOS having a birdbeak portion comprises two electrodes 10 and 20 having different electrode widths sufficiently large to disregard the length of the LOCOS birdbeak portion and an electrode 30 having an extremely small width substantially equal to the length of the birdbeak portion. All the electrode have the same length and are connected to test pads 10a, 20a, and 30a, respectively. The capacitance of a parasitic transistor is easily extracted by using the evaluation TEG and the evaluation of parameters causing the hump characteristics is become possible.

  • Patent number: 6974714
Abstract: A process for making a light waveguide element is made by forming only an upper clad layer (40) and a core layer (32) without etching an optical axis height-adjusting sections. By using plasma chemical vapor deposition (CVD) which is good at controlling the film thickness, it is possible to provide without difficulty a light waveguide element with a height-adjusting section that has a precise film thickness, making it possible to provide precise optical axis vertical alignment upon mounting. By forming alignment markers in the same photolithography as that of the core formation, it is possible to provide precise horizontal optical axis alignment.
