Abstract: A system for discovering business processes from noisy activities logs from various activities performed during the execution of the process. Activities are observed from the noisy activity logs that may include text from manually entered activity logs, chat scripts, emails, voice transcripts, desktop captures, and tool logs, wherein the noisy activity logs are received from multiple person/tool actors with each of the actors performing one or more activities related to one/more business tasks. Extracting information from the noisy activity logs to capture activity based information, and then analyzing similar activities and finding possible paths in the similar activities. The results are used to build a process graph based on the similar activities and the possible paths in the similar activities.

Abstract: A method of operating a virtual machine includes determining a virtual machine signature, receiving an execution request from an application, and determining an application signature based on the request. The method further includes validating the application signature to the virtual machine signature and executing the application based on the validation.

Abstract: An approach is provided that registers a component plug-in with a console application. A request is received from a user of the console application. The console application displays a console user interface in a predetermined interface style. The console application detects that the request corresponds to the component plug-in and sends an initial request to the component plug-in. The console application receives an initial model of an initial user interface from the component plug-in and this model is provided to the user in response to the initial request. The console application builds an initial component user interface based on the received initial model. The initial component user interface is also consistent with the predetermined interface style. The console application displays the initial component user interface and the console user interface in a common application window in the predetermined interface style.

Abstract: Rerouting telecommunications to a user including receiving a plurality of RFID signals from an RFID tag located with the user, anticipating a user's future location in dependence upon the RFID signals, selecting a telephony device in dependence upon the anticipated future location, and rerouting an ongoing call to the selected telephony device. In typical embodiments, selecting a telephony device in dependence upon the anticipated future location also includes identifying location based routing preferences for the user. Abstract: To create signature data which certifies the time when information existed and add it to the information more efficiently than before. A time certification system for certifying the time when information existed, comprising: an identity certification data acquisition section for acquiring identity certification data generated based on the information to certify the identity of the information; a time certification data generation section for observing a target object changing with time elapse from the outside and generating time certification data based on observation data obtained as a result of the observation, in response to an instruction received from a user; a signature data generation section for generating signature data indicating that the information existed at the time when the target object was observed, based on combination of the identity certification data and the time certification data; and an information recording section for recording the signature data in association with the information.

Abstract: A first transaction attribute is received from a first monitoring agent. The first transaction attribute includes a plurality of identifiers and is associated with a transaction. A second transaction attribute is received from a second monitoring agent. The second transaction attribute is associated with the transaction. The transaction is monitored through a plurality of application environments by associating at least a portion of the first transaction attribute with at least a portion of the second transaction attribute.

Abstract: Where parallel links between network devices are aggregated into link groups to support the transport of associated data streams, the link groups can be managed in an energy efficient manner by defining each link group as consisting of a primary link and one or more secondary links. The primary link in a link group remains enabled at all times but the secondary links are enabled only when needed and are disabled when no longer needed, minimizing power consumption for the secondary links (and the link group).

Some embodiments of the present invention also include creating audio configuration selection rules including receiving from a user audio configurations and associating the audio configurations with predetermined context parameters.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a mechanism which is activated when a user opts to hibernate their computer (at the end of the day) rather than switching it off. In particular, on receipt of a hibernate request, an embodiment provides a mechanism for determining whether (as a result of, for example, a distribution or installation of software to a computer) there are any outstanding reboot operations for the computer. If there are any outstanding reboot operations for the computer, an embodiment advises the user of the fact; and allows the user to reconsider whether or not they wish to shut the computer down (or reboot the computer), or hibernate the computer. An embodiment then reboots the computer or hibernates the computer in accordance with the user's wishes.
