Patent number: 7388420Abstract: Rewriteable electronic fuses include latches and/or logic gates coupled to one or more nonvolatile memory elements. The nonvolatile memory elements are configured to be programmed to memory values capable of causing associated electronic circuits to settle to predetermined states as power-up or reset signals are applied to the fuses. Although not required, the nonvolatile memory elements used in the rewriteable electronic fuses may comprise floating-gate transistors. An amount of charge stored on the floating gate of a given floating-gate transistor determines the memory value and, consequently, the state to which a fuse settles upon power-up or reset of the fuse.Type: GrantFiled: March 30, 2004Date of Patent: June 17, 2008Assignee: Impinj, Inc.Inventors: Christopher J. Patent number: 7386632Abstract: A method for maintaining Quality of Service for communication network subscribers regardless of their log-on location is disclosed. For one embodiment the communications network has a first access point having a first router and a local memory containing at least one user profile containing a subscriber's pool identifier, and a second access point having a second router configured to provide a forwarding rate based on a source address from each of said packets. A service type for a subscriber is defined. A pool identifier corresponding to a service level agreement is assigned to the subscriber. If the subscriber attempts to log-on to the second access point, the subscriber's pool identifier is obtained from a global memory available to the second access point. The pool identifier is used to select a source address. A packet sent by the subscriber is forwarded using the second router, each packet containing the source address.Type: GrantFiled: January 9, 2007Date of Patent: June 10, 2008Assignee: Cisco Technology, Inc.Inventors: Aravind Sitaraman, Joseph F. Patent number: 7370102Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing management and maintenance to a node within a data communications network and to the composite data communications network. A network management application is started on a host which may be located at a network operation center. The management application is in communication with network nodes and services through adapters. A master daemon located at a node is activated. The master daemon starts a control adapter running on the node and if the control adapter fails the master daemon restarts the control adapter. The control adapter is capable of starting and stopping all services running on the node. Signals are communicated between the management application, the node and the services by way of adapters. Signaling provides for the exchange of useful event data related to the nodes and services running on the nodes.Type: GrantFiled: February 13, 2004Date of Patent: May 6, 2008Assignee: Cisco Technology, Inc.Inventors: Jie Chu, Aravind Sitaraman, Leslie Alan Thomas

Patent number: 7368874Abstract: A biasing system for use with a multi-stage depressed collector of a high power amplifier includes one or more adjustable power sources. A power controller provides control signals to the power sources depending on the operational RF power level. For low power applications, biasing of collector electrodes is reduced such that savings in energy costs are realized, and operational temperature and wear are reduced.
