Abstract: This invention provides and improved apparatus and an improved method of adjusting the tractive torque at the driven wheels of a scale model vehicle employing an enclosed friction driven differential. The invention's improvements allow this adjustment to be accomplished without disassembly of the driven axles, or removing any member of the differential's enclosure to gain access to the internal adjusting components.
Abstract: A non-restrictive, constant pressure refrigerant recycling and cooling unit that interrupts the normal refrigerant cycle to permit a lower temperature liquid to enter the expansion device, and thus provide a lower temperature, and therefore a lower pressure gas for delivery to the inlet side of the compressor, which acts to reduce the energy requirement and cost to operate the compressor. This reduction in pressure and temperature also results in lower operating costs and lower maintenance costs and utilizes less refrigerant quantity requirements.
Abstract: This miniature, but fully operable kite is made of a starter piece of thin material in a accordion style of construction, and when the starter piece is collapsed to its minimum dimension, in one embodiment, it is substantially circular in shape and is small enough to fit into and under the bottom of a typical paper drinking cup. In another embodiment, the starter piece is rectangular or is rectangular initially but may include partially cut out circular pieces that are punched out manually to form the starter piece comprised of a plurality of generally circular disks.
Abstract: The specification discloses an especially designed and built bag frame that comprises a closed loop of tubing having a shaped form about which the open end of a refuse bag of plastic or other flexible material may be stretched and wrapped so as to hold the mouth of the bag open while the user rakes or gathers in grass, leaves, or other refuse. In one embodiment the frame is D-shaped so that the flat side may rest squarely on the ground. In another embodiment the frame includes spikes adjacent the flat side so that the frame may forceably be engaged with the earth so that it will stand alone when the user releases hold thereof; this permits the user to have both hands free for the raking or gathering activity.
