  • Patent number: 7131166
Abstract: The present invention is an ingenuously designed multiple self locking hinge assembly that is simple to manufacture and can come in a variety of shapes and sizes given the application requirements. It has few parts making it cost effect and simple to use. The hinge assembly can easily be opened and closed with a single hand while at the same time creating a strong hinge connection. The invention can be used in a number of applications, including use with multiple poled devices for many common applications such as crutches, walkers, golf bag and baby carriages to name a few. The invention can also be used in conjunction with devices that require a collapsible frame. The invention also provides lateral strength and stability to a multiple poled device.

  • Patent number: 6398049
Abstract: A free flow formula cap comprising uniquely designed plugs to act as a passive sealing system for the nipple of a baby bottle. The plugs are retained within and at the bottom of the cap so that they align axially with the neck of the nipple when the cap is placed on the bottle. The plugs are operated from the exterior of the cap by depressing them together axially thereby pinching the nipple to create a seal between the end of the nipple and the bottle. The seal created by the plugs prevents the common problem of powder formula clogging the nipple during mixing of the same. The nipple remains sterile as one does not have to use her hands to unclog the nipple if the same were to get clogged during the mixing of the powdered formula.

  • Patent number: 6209370
Abstract: A key retaining device that secures the functional section of the key while leaving the non functional section exposed for easy identification. The device is able to lock individual keys on a large key chain without interference with the non locked keys. The key can only be removed with the use of a master key. The device's simple and inexpensive design includes only five components: namely a housing to enclose the key, two deformable substrates, a unique set screw, and a master key. There is a bore inside the housing that runs longitudinally within the housing. The bore has a threaded section that contains the screw and a non-threaded section that contains the two deformable substrates. There is a blind slot at the base of the housing which runs from one side of the housing to the non-threaded section of the bore. The functional section of the key is placed through the blind slot, into the non-threaded section of bore, and between the two deformable substrates.
