Abstract: A modular article support unit consisting of an elongated tubular member adapted to be removably attached to the hinge pins of two hinges of a door by means of adjustable brackets, said elongated tubular member having a plurality of holes along the length thereof for removably attaching several different types of support devices, such as coat hooks, towel racks, bulletin boards and mirrors.
Abstract: A Direct Readout Centerline Measuring Device and Process usable with standard height gages, dial height gages, electronic height gages, and angle protractors, to obtain a direct read out of centerline locations for fast accurate inspection lay-out, jig and fixture work, thereby eliminating common read out errors, and allowing direct readout of center line locations in much less time than is normally required with conventional types of measuring equipment.
Abstract: A fuel inlet repair device for repairing the damaged threaded fuel inlet opening of an engine carburetor or fuel injection pump to allow the fuel inlet line to be connected to the fuel inlet opening. The fuel inlet repair device according to the present invention consists of a generally tubular shaped outer plug or member formed of a plastic material impervious to fuel and having an outer diameter corresponding generally to the size of the opening of the fuel inlet passage in the carburetor or fuel injector pump. The tubular shaped member has a tapered opening passing longitudinally therethrough, with threads formed along the tapered bore or opening. An inner plug having threads on the outer surface thereof corresponding to the tapered threads on the inner opening or passage through the outer tubular plug is designed to be inserted into the threaded opening.
Abstract: A bacterial filter unit for use in anesthesia applications and respiratory procedures, which bacterial filter unit comprises a two-piece molded housing, each piece being of a generally frusto-conical shape and having an interlocking edge for joining the two housing pieces together in a sealing locking engagement, for retention of a filter media formed of fiberglas or other material between the two housing portions, and for sealing the filter media, each housing portion further having a tubular opening at the peak of the frusto-conical portion for connecting the filter unit in the necessary conduit in the anesthesia or respiratory application apparatus for filtering the bacteria passing through the lines.
Abstract: A process for raising manholes and manhole covers to a new grade level of a street when constructing new streets or when paving old streets, comprising the steps of placing a sealing means around the interior of the cast manhole between the lower edge thereof and the upper edge of a sewer catch basin, and pouring wet concrete around the exterior of manhole, the sealing means, and the upper edge of the sewer catch basin to form a continuous joint between the manhole at the raised grade level and the upper edge of the sewer catch basin, and removing the sealing means from between the edges of the manhole and sewer catch basin.
