    Abstract: A method and an apparatus for conducting predetermined operations in the interior of a pipe with a cutter, in which the cutter is shifted so that a rotary axis of the cutter is angularly displaced about an axis extending along the pipe and is displaced in the axial direction of the pipe while the cutter is rotated about an axis extending in the axial direction of the pipe or about an axis extending in the radial direction of the pipe.
