Abstract: A wrench with torque augmenting means consisting of an output socket wrench which utilizes a ratchet arrangement and which includes an input cog that is adapted to receive an external drive tool. The input cog constantly rotates under the influence of the external drive tool and a camming surface formed on the arm of the input cog coacts with a cam follower surface on the drive plate of the output to move the drive plate. A spring within the housing of the apparatus connected to the drive plate will cause the drive plate to return to its initial position where the action of the camming surface of the rotating cog arm from the input cog can then repeat its function. Rotary movement of the output in one direction is accomplished during the oscillation of the drive plate by means of the ratchet positioned within the drive plate.
Abstract: A pet treat dispensing system comprising a non-edible, interactive pet toy having fastening means therein for removably mounting and retaining an edible pet treat in an exposed position for easy access by a pet, wherein the treat is kept at a distance from stainable surfaces when the toy is in the upright position.

Abstract: A cutting tool provides a device for cutting a plate glass corner. The structure includes upper and lower blades which are opened and closed to cut the plate glass. The upper and lower blade edge lines mutually oppose each other to form a cutter body having a scissor shape. The upper and lower blade edge lines also coincide with the planned cut line of the corner section of the plate glass.
Abstract: A baseball playing kit includes telescoping vertical supports mounted on a base plate. An intermediate support is adjustable in height for different sized users. A tapered support holds a foam covered ball at the upper end. The base is divided into segments that can be easily assembled. A lower threaded vertical support is secured to the base by a threaded base member and a locking member secures the base segments together. A foam covered bat is included. The various components are separable for packaging into a small container for shipping and storage and are easily assembled into a complete game unit.
Abstract: Apparatus to achieve percutaneous entry to a blood vessel includes several coacting combinations of coacting instruments, some capable of independent action, as well as enabling clear visualisation of the operative area, precise location of the operative site, capture and immobilization of the vessel, and guidance in the positioning and insertion of the puncturing needle Additionally, apparatus is provided for the placement of a sponge directly on the entry wound in the vessel to reduce bleeding. The present invention also sets forth a method for vascular puncture and more particularly for the arterial puncture procedure. The line of maximal pulsation is ascertained, and a small incision in the skin is made. A dissecting-retracting tool (100) is then employed to create a skin-to-vessel channel. The vessel is inspected through the spread fingers. A tubular access conduit (300), mounted on an obturator-carrier (400), is inserted until it rest upon the vessel.
