Abstract: A twin-hull catamaran boat or vessel comprising of four hydrodynamic pod sections connected with a mid-span recess on each hull that receives mechanically inducted gas or air for hull support. Each hull shape of the twin-hull catamaran configuration contains one V-shaped hull portion forward (bow), one mid-length hull cavity portion that receives pressurized gas or air therein (amidships), and one V-shaped hull portion aft (stern). The V-shaped bow portion creates hydrodynamic lift, the air or gas mechanically pressurized mid-length recess portion creates an air cushion to lift the hull in order to reduce wetted surface and drag on the hulls, and the V-shaped stern portion provides hydrodynamic lift to support the aft portion of the twin-hull catamaran configuration and also to provide an aft sealing body for the mechanically pressurized air or gas mid-length cavity.

Abstract: A manifold for a food product molding machine, which balances the flow and pressure of the food product over a wide fill area. The invention further relates to a feed system for a food product molding machine which has a multiple plunger configuration which increases the capacity of the food product molding machine. The invention further provides a valve for controlling the flow of food product molding machine. A breather vent assembly and auger cover is configured to return exhaust air and excess food product to the food product supply.
Abstract: A laminate composite sheet comprising a two-ply base layer comprised of a bottom ply and a top ply, wherein the bottom ply is comprised of unbleached cellulosic fibers and wherein the top ply is comprised of bleached or brightened cellulosic fibers and a further layer attached to the top ply with a layer of adhesive; said further layer having a top and a bottom surface, said further layer selected from the group consisting of paper or film; said layer of adhesive containing no pigment, and said top surface of said further layer having no coating.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for controlling the operating speed of a manufacturing facility is disclosed. It includes determining a desired operating speed that is dependent on at least one economic variable. The variables vary with the operating speed. Also, the operating speed is adjusted (if necessary) in response to the determination. Preferably the control is closed loop and includes determining a current operating speed and comparing the current operating speed to the desired operating speed. The operating speed is controlled in response to the comparison. The economic variable is preferably a cost of manufacturing, and/or manufacturing inflows, and/or manufacturing outflows. The economic efficiency is dependent on one or more economic variables that vary with operating speed. The current economic efficiency of the facility is obtained along with information on the business transactions that affects the economic variables.
Abstract: A laminated paperboard package is produced by initially printing graphics by high speed printing on a sheet of clay-coated publication paper. The printed paper is then continuously applied to a surface of cellulosic substrate and bonded to the substrate, preferably through use of starch as an adhesive, to provide a laminated product. The laminated product is then die cut to the desired shape, folded and glued into the configuration of a box or container. A layer of water absorbent, cellulosic fiber material can be bonded to the inner surface of the substrate to prevent moisture from the contained product from seeping outwardly through the substrate to the printed paper.
Abstract: A golf watch, which keeps time and allows a player to keep score of a person's golf game and records the clubs that were used during that game.
Abstract: The use of a pivotal coupling on a cart of the wheelbarrow type allows for a downwardly applied pressure to the user ends of the handles to tip the bucket to at least begin the dumping action of the cart. Following the initial downward pressure with the handles still elevationally displaced downward an upward lift applied to the user ends of the handles completes the dumping action of the cart. Use of multiple pivotal axises on the cart provide for an extremely efficient operation. Various enhancements are explained including locking of the orientation of the cart following the initial dump, wheel blocking to prevent rotation of the ground support wheel relative to the bucket during at least a portion of the final dumping action and stabilization enhancement to prevent lateral tipping of the cart during the final dumping action.
Abstract: A belt drive system for a reciprocating mold plate in a food product molding machine. The invention relates to a belt drive system having a belt tensioning device configured to tension a drive belt of an indexing motion food product molding machine. The invention provides ease of service and/or replacement of components of the drive system. The invention provides a manifold configuration to balance the flow and pressure of the food product over a wide fill area.
Abstract: A system and method for capturing and verifying convergence traffic driven to the web via non-web technologies, i.e., radio, television, billboards and printed material.
Abstract: A mold plate drive assembly configured to provide a variable motion and fill position of the cavity of a mold plate relative to a fill position of a food product forming machine.
Abstract: A skimmer device and a method for skimming a liquid, foam, fat or other solid or liquid material or anything else that a user wants to remove or separate from a remaining liquid or solid that is left in a container.
