  • Patent number: 8333719
Abstract: An oscillation arm moves in a seesaw fashion about an oscillation axis which is supported by a support rod and which serves as a fulcrum. A rotation arm and a pressurizer are provided on one end of the oscillation arm. One end of the rotation arm is rotatably attached to the oscillation arm, and a load weight is placed on the other end of the rotation arm. By rotating the rotation arm, the magnitude of a force to be applied by the load weight to the pressurizer is adjusted. More specifically, by displacing the load weight to a predetermined position by rotation and then causing the load weight to stop at this position, a static load corresponding to the rotation angle can be applied to the pressurizer. Further, by causing the load weight to perform rotational motion, the magnitude of the force to be applied to the pressurizer is periodically varied, so that a load which varies periodically can be applied to hard tissue.

  • Patent number: 8333701
Abstract: A parameter calculating unit calculates a parameter value at each time through an interpolation process based on a parameter value at a telediastole stored in a telediastole memory and a parameter value at a telesystole stored in a telesystole memory. An interpolation coefficient memory stores an interpolation coefficient which is used for the interpolation process. When the parameter calculating unit calculates, for each parameter, parameter values of the times from telediastole to the telesystole, a region-of-interest setting unit sets, for each time, a three-dimensional region of interest in the three-dimensional data space based on the plurality of parameters. With this process, a three-dimensional region of interest which dynamically changes from the telediastole to the telesystole is set in the three-dimensional data space.

  • Patent number: 8334669
Abstract: In the multi-axis driver control method for transmitting a command from an external device to the drive-axis basis controller of the multi-axis driver to set operation and/or parameters of the drive-axis basis controller, the external device is connected to the multi-axis driver on a one-to-one basis, and the external interface is connected to the drive-axis basis controller via a multi-dropped connecting portion. The drive-axis basis controller determines whether the command is self-addressed or not and, if the command is self-addressed, the drive-axis basis controller executes the command and transmits response data corresponding to the command and a transmission permission flag to the multi-dropped connecting portion. The multi-dropped connecting portion opens a transmission port in response to the transmission permission flag and transmits the response data to the external device, and after transmission is finished, the multi-dropped connecting portion closes the transmission port.

  • Patent number: 8335398
Abstract: A distortion correcting apparatus includes a buffer circuit which writes image data having horizontal pixels of a first number and a vertical-distortion different depending on a horizontal pixel position, into an SDRAM. The written image data is read-out for each units of horizontal pixels, which include a reference horizontal pixel and indicates a second number smaller than the first number, in a vertical pixel direction. A buffer control circuit in the vertical-distortion correcting circuit determines a second number in such a manner as to indicate a larger numerical value as a vertical-distortion corresponding to the reference horizontal pixel is smaller so as to start the buffer circuit. Also, the buffer control circuit changes a position of the reference horizontal pixel to a position corresponding to the second number at a timing based on a correction amount of the vertical-distortion correcting circuit so as to start the above-described determining process.

  • Patent number: 8335094
Abstract: A current control circuit (active element) is provided that is connected between a rectifier of a DC power source and a smoothing capacitor in a power frequency converter and that controls a variation in the rectified current caused by a variation in the instantaneous power consumption of the load device. When the rectified current increases, the current control circuit limits the current to have a reference current value or lower and, when the rectified current decreases, the current control circuit increases the current to have a value close to the reference current to thereby suppress the rectified current from the rectifier to a substantially-constant value. This consequently mitigates the influence on the primary power source by the variation in the instantaneous power consumption of the load device, thus clearing the Load Demand Variation specification required for the power source to be used in an aircraft.
