Abstract: A surveillance system is provided including a platform having a plurality and variety of cameras or sensors mounted thereto, and a base enclosure adapted to accommodate a power supply, a variety of electronics and other equipment for controlling and providing power to the surveillance equipment. The base is constructed to be tamper resistant and immovable by manual means. A substantially hollow support pole includes a lower portion detachably mounted to the base, and an upper portion mounted to the platform. Wires and cables for connecting the surveillance equipment with the electronics and power supply are run through the support pole. Power to the system may be supplied through existing power sources, for example a 120V power source.

Abstract: A tension-adjusting device for sutures comprising a body through which sutures tend to be knotted at the top of the body with a plurality of flexible legs extending outwardly and downwardly from the body to rest on the body of a patient. In one embodiment, the body of the top half and the bottom half can be rotated with respect to each other to tighten the sutures passing therethrough.
Abstract: A spray wax concentrate adapted to be applied in a highly diluted state in an aqueous spray to a surface, such as a vehicle surface, in the hot sun comprising about 2 to 10 wt. % of a fine polishing powder, of about 10 to about 40 wt. % of mineral spirits, of about 0.5 to about 3 wt. % of a dimethyl silicone fluid polymer, from about 0.5 to about 1.75 wt. % of an alkanolamide surface-active agent; from about 1 to about 1.75 wt. % of a higher alkyl amino functional group substituted dimethyl silicone polymer wax, and the balance, water, to obtain a total of 100 wt. %. The spray wax concentrate is preferably applied as pressurized, turbulent aqueous spray containing about 1 part by volume of the spray wax concentrate and about 40 to about 100 parts by volume of water.
Abstract: A stair system employing an improved stair nose molding and back molding which provides for a stair system having a free-floating riser and a free-floating tread, the stair nose molding having a cutout with tongue for receiving grooved stair tread and a groove for receiving a riser in a sliding arrangement. The stair back molding having a groove to receive the bottom edge of the riser in a sliding arrangement. The tread is secured to the stair nose molding, the riser being slidably secured in the stair nose molding and the stair back molding, and the end of the tread being secured along with the back stair molding to the tread subflooring.
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a fabric mesh reinforced monolithic thermoplastic membrane. The open mesh fabric is drawn into the gap between two calender rollers of a membrane extruder, a molten first thermoplastic material is extruded into the throat of the gap between the first roller and the first side of the fabric mesh, while a second molten thermoplastic material is simultaneously extruded into the throat of the gap between the second roller and the second side of the fabric mesh. The composite material is then drawn through the gap between the first and second rollers to force the molten first and second thermoplastic materials into and through the open mesh of the fabric to fuse and bond the molten first and second thermoplastic materials in and about the fabric mesh to form the fabric mesh reinforced monolithic thermoplastic membrane.
Abstract: An improved applicator for medicinal, therapeutic, pharmaceutical, and/or cosmetic preparations comprising an applicator head having a foam applicator head, a flexible tubular reservoir for storing the preparation, and a cap to seal off the applicator end of the applicator head. The foam having one or more slits which form communication passageways between the reservoir and the applicator head and which are compressed by the cap to prevent migration of air from the exterior into the reservoir and passage of preparation from the reservoir to the applicator head when the cap is seated on the applicator head.
Abstract: An improved self centering spade drill having at least three cutting blades extending radially outward from the center of the drill, the front edge of the blade constituting the cutting portion of the drill, the rear edge of the blade constituting the port end of the drill which are adapted to be received and supported by a drill holder.

Abstract: A cotton roll holder adapted to removably receive a cotton roll, the combination of the holder and the cotton roll useful to position the cotton roll in the mouth between the gum and the inner wall of the mouth or cheek to isolate a tooth from the inner wall of the mouth.
Abstract: The present invention concerns an improved stent for placement in corporeal lumens. More particularly, the present invention concerns an improved stent for placement in a corporeal lumen comprising a coiled ribbon which is rigid enough to maintain the relative position of each turn of the coiled ribbon during its expansion within the lumen after placement.
Abstract: The process for removing titanium metal and alloys from nickel metal, nickel metal alloys, cobalt metal and cobalt metal alloys by leaching out the titanium metal and/or alloys with a hydrofluoric acid solution, oxidizing Ti.sup.+3 to Ti.sup.+4 salts in the leached metals or alloys with an aqueous oxidant, and rinsing the leached metal with water to yield nickel metal, nickel metal alloys, cobalt metal, and/or cobalt metal alloys substantially free of titanium and tin.
Abstract: A structural, insulating, insect resistant, dimensionally stable composite wall panel for building construction comprising a regular tetragonal body of polymer foam having two opposing primary wall surfaces bounded on its sides by two parallel side walls and on its ends by two parallel end walls; and at least one light metal gauge hollow stud in the body, each light metal gauge stud extending at least from one end wall to the other end wall and parallel to the side walls of said body, the polymer foam extending into the center of the stud to secure the stud to the body, at least one side wall of each stud forming a portion of the same primary wall surface of said body.
