  • Patent number: 3956133
Abstract: A vertical upper inlet duct adapted to be connected to an upper section of a downspout or conductor leads downward through the upper wall of an open-ended horizontal box-shaped housing with a tapered bottom wall converging to a downwardly-tapered vertical outlet duct. The latter connects with a lower section of the downspout or conductor. A screen or grating is inserted in the box-shaped housing over the outlet therefrom, which may be cleaned of leaves or other water-borne trash collecting thereon by the user inserting his hand through either of the open ends of the housing. The screen itself is also similarly removable for cleaning.

  • Patent number: 3952984
Abstract: Bolted or otherwise secured in offset relationship to one of the legs of a radio or television tower or mast is a bracket to the top of which is fixedly secured an inner sprocket. Rotatably mounted in this bracket coaxial with the inner sprocket is an inner shaft to the top of which is fixedly secured the rearward hub of an inner arm. Rotatably mounted in the forward hub of the inner arm is an intermediate shaft to the lower end of which is fixedly secured a lower intermediate sprocket carrying an endless sprocket chain drivingly connecting it to the inner sprocket. Fixedly secured to the forward hub of the inner arm coaxial with the intermediate shaft above the lower intermediate sprocket is an upper intermediate sprocket. Fixedly secured to the upper end of the intermediate shaft is the rearward hub of an outer arm, in the forward hub at the outer end of which is journaled an outer shaft.

  • Patent number: 3942605
Abstract: A removable assembly including an ignition coil container is adapted to be positioned in a receptacle which is mounted upon the bulkhead or near the floor of the driver's compartment of an automobile. This receptacle at one end is provided with a head of insulating material containing peripheral circumferentially-spaced multiple terminal plugs which are connected to the various low tension cables of the automobile engine ignition system and also has a central terminal plug adapted to be connected to a high tension cable. Separably engageable with these terminal plugs are correspondingly-located terminal sockets from which internal connections are made with the removable ignition coil mounted in the container.

  • Patent number: 3930670
Abstract: This dolly frame has a cross member upon which a pair of ground wheels are rotatably mounted and from which laterally-spaced opposite side members project forward. These side members terminate in wedge-shaped coupling members pivotally connected to coupling member adapters permanently secured to the rearward portion of the towing vehicle chassis, thereby providing limited rise and fall of the dolly relatively to the adapters. The center of a transverse leaf spring mounted on the cross member engages the lower end of a trailer hitch ball structure mounted on a cross-head which is in turn connected to a shock absorber to thereby dampen the oscillation of the leaf spring and thereby eliminate the pitching otherwise transmitted to the towing car as a jerking motion back and forth when the dolly hits a bad bump.
