Abstract: An agricultural bale wrapper having a frame with hitches thereon for attachment to a 3 point hitch of a tractor. The frame has fastened thereto a means to stab and rotate an agricultural bale. The 3 point hitch of the tractor lifts the agricultural bale and a hydraulic system rotates the stabbing mechanism for the agricultural bale. The frame also has fastened to it a means to support a roll of plastic sheeting so that the plastic sheeting may be wrapped onto the agricultural bale as the rotation mechanism is rotating the agricultural bale. The frame also has fastened to it a braking mechanism to stretch the plastic sheeting tightly around the agricultural bale as the rotation mechanism is rotating the agricultural bale.
Abstract: A toast guard made of a heat absorbent ceramic piece molded in the shape of a slice of bread, but slightly smaller in size and thickness than a slice of bread. The ceramic piece is used in the toasting process of an ordinary multi-slotted household toaster when some of the slots of the toaster are filled with slices of bread and some of the slots are vacant. The ceramic piece enables the toast to be darkened to the same degree on both sides and prevents the excessive darkening or burning of the side of the toast adjacent to a vacant slot in the toaster.
Abstract: A universal power compress comprised of two slightly flexible members hinged together at one end, one member having a pressure plate attached thereto and the other member having padding attached to it. A mechanism to fasten the opposite ends of the members together to hold the power compress in such a position after the members have been placed on a portion of a human body so as to apply pressure to an open wound in the human body without completely reducing the blood circulation to the surrounding areas of the human body or to the ends of a human extremity outward from the universal power compress. A bandage or gauze cover may be placed on the pressure plate to prevent contamination of the wound.
Abstract: A manually propelled lawn and garden cart comprised of a bottom storage box and an open frame securely fastened to the top of the bottom storage box, means to support lawn and garden tools in the open frame and the bottom storage box, preferably by tubes fastened between holes in a cross piece at the top of the open frame, and a similar cross piece which is the top of the bottom storage box. Wings are pivotably attached between extensions to the bottom storage box and the open frame. The wings have brackets attached to them which receive a trash bag bracket pivotably attached to the open frame near its top so as to hold the lawn and garden cart in a stable position. An adjustable leg is attached to the bottom of each wing which may be adjusted so as to touch the ground when the lawn and garden cart is placed in a horizontal position so that the adjustable legs, together with wheels attached to the bottom storage box, form a 4 point support.
Abstract: This invention provides a means to convert wind energy into electrical energy which through electrolysis forms gases to be stored under pressure, giving a form of stored energy for use at some future time by the use of a high torque, low speed vertical axis wind machine connected by direct drive to homopolar direct current generators so as to create direct current for the electrolysis of water, resulting in the breakdown of water into its basic components of hydrogen and oxygen, which are then stored under pressure until necessary for use as a source of energy.
Abstract: A means to obtain a sample of raw sewage entering a sewage treatment and disposal plant so that the sample is taken during a fixed portion of the time that raw sewage flows into the treatment area of the sewage treatment and disposal plant and is of a constant volume comprised of a vacuum pump with a percentage timer to draw raw sewage through a stand pipe into a sample vessel so that the raw sewage will rise above the top of the stand pipe and then, due to the action of an imperfect flap valve, fall to the level of the top of the stand pipe and remain at this level until the percentage timer deactivates a solenoid valve causing atmospheric pressure to allow a constant volume sample to flow into a sample container.
Abstract: An axle alignment machine on which a trailer can be driven and fastened, simulating the fastening of a trailer to a fifth wheel of a tractor. The machine having a pit located therein which contains carriages that move on tracks. The carriages support the wheels of a trailer so that with plumb bobs and markings in the pit a static alignment of the axles of the trailer may be obtained and with the use of motors to turn wheel rollers on the carriages a dynamic alignment of the axles of the trailer may be obtained.
