Abstract: This invention relates to a phytoprotein synthetic fiber and the method for the manufacture thereof. This synthetic fiber is composed of phytoprotein and polyvinyl alcohol, the phytoprotein comprising A parts of the two components, where A is equal to or greater than 5 parts and less than 23 parts, and the polyvinyl alcohol comprising B parts, where B is greater than 77 parts and equal to or less than 95 parts. The methods of manufacturing the synthetic fiber comprise a semi-finished product manufacturing process and a semi-finished product acetalization and finishing process.

Abstract: Compositions, kits and methods are provided for promoting general health or for prevention or treatment of diseases by using novel recombinant fusion proteins of human serum albumin (HSA) and bioactive molecules. The bioactive molecules may be a protein or peptide having a biological function in vitro or in vivo, and preferably, having a therapeutic activity when administered to a human. By fusing the bioactive molecule to HSA, stability of the bioactive molecule in vivo can be improved and the therapeutic index increased due to reduced toxicity and longer-lasting therapeutic effects in vivo. In addition, manufacturing processes are provided for efficient, cost-effective production of these recombinant proteins in yeast.

Abstract: A soil infiltration irrigation system includes a plurality of water-permeable containers and a water-feeding pipeline communicating with each of the containers. The containers are provided with connectors for connecting to the water-feeding pipeline and are also provided with an air-relieving pipe connected to the container. The water-feeding pipeline supplies water from a water supply reservoir which can feed the water-feeding pipeline either by gravity or by a booster pump in the pipeline. The air-relieving pipe has an air outlet installed at an elevation that maintains a water level in each container. The containers may be double-layered, with the air pipe communicating with an inner layer and the outer layer communicating with the water-feeding pipeline.

Abstract: A multifunctional bottle cap is disclosed, which includes a cap body having a lower portion with internal threads for connecting to a neck of a bottle, and an upper portion having an upwardly protruding nozzle with an outlet opening at an edge portion of the nozzle; a straw having an upper end extending out of the protruding nozzle adjacent to the outlet opening, the straw being vertically movable to extend upward from the cap body; and a spray assembly having a press pumping mechanism, an aspiration tube, a pump button extending upwardly, and a spray nozzle in perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the cap body; the spray pump being positioned on an opposing side of the protruding nozzle. The multifunctional bottle cap provides a user the ability to drink, spray and pour liquid from an attached bottle.

Abstract: A slide coupling fitting for connecting a tubular conduit and the method of use are provided. The fitting includes a tubular body, two opposing open ends, and an external threaded section on an exterior of the tubular body adjacent to each open end; and two tubular sliding couplers, each having an internal diameter slightly larger than an external diameter of the tubular body, and each being connected to one of the open ends of the tubular body, respectively, and coaxial with the tubular body. Each tubular sliding coupler has an internal threaded section adjacent to an inner end which is closer to a longitudinal center of the tubular body, and a smooth interior at an opposing outer end for slidably engaging a tubular conduit. The internal threaded section is complementary to the external threaded section of the tubular body for mutual engagement.

Abstract: A framework composition windmill includes a cylindrical tower and a wind power dynamic component positioned at the top end of the tower. The wind power dynamic component includes a wind-driven rotor and an STS energy exchange coupling element which includes an annular mechanical moving module and an annular stationary electronic module. The stationary electronic module is installed on a support structure, and the mechanical moving module is connected to, and driven by the wind-driven rotor, rotating relative to the stationary electronic module. The wind-driven rotor includes at least two blades and a flexible bow-shaped framework; each of the blades being installed on and supported by the bow-shaped framework and vertically connected at bowstring end of the bow-shaped framework. With this wind power dynamic component, the speed of the rotor can be automatically adjusted to match the speed of the energy exchanger and to obtain optimal efficiency.

Abstract: A fast change electric transformer connector is disclosed, which includes a cable connector having a cable attachment section, a connector extension connected to the cable attachment section, and a stud slide adaptor connected to a side of the connector extension for slidably attaching the cable connector to a transformer stud; and a stud screw adaptor complimentary to a transformer stud. The cable attachment section includes a cable receiving body having multiple receiving slots for receiving cables; and multiple removable sliding cable fastening blocks disposed within the receiving slots for fastening the cables. Each sliding cable fastening block can be slid in or out from the receiving slot for conveniently installing a large cable. Also disclosed are a transformer connector and a transformer adaptor, which have an adaptor extension for connecting between the transformer stud and the cable connection portion of the connector/adaptor, for use when shorted cables are cut.

The system includes upper vessel 26, lower vessel 27, cooling heat exchanger 10, self-induced air circulation device 11, outdoor system controller 9 and water heater 8. Upper vessel 26 includes high temperature generator 1, low temperature generator 2 and condenser 3. The lower vessel 27 includes high temperature heat exchanger 4, low temperature heat exchanger 5, evaporator 7 and absorber 6. Upper vessel 26 is connected to lower vessel 27 by refrigerant water outlet pipe 28, LTG dilute solution inlet pipe 29, LTG concentrate solution outlet pipe 30, HTG dilute solution inlet pipe 31, HTG concentrate solution outlet pipe 32, HTG steam outlet pipe 56, heating steam switch valve 55 and HTG steam inlet pipe 57. The system is an ideal central air conditioner system for large houses.

Abstract: A carrying device for attaching to a bottle around a bottle neck is disclosed. The carrying device has a ring segment that is received by the neck below the bottle cap and a hook segment attached to the ring segment. The ring segment is shaped as a substantially thin planar disc, and the hook segment is planar and thin. The hook segment and the ring segment extend in a common plane and are foldable along an axis line between the hook segment and the ring segment. The axis line is perpendicularly to a connection line between centers of the openings of the hook segment and the ring segment. The planar ring segment and hook segment can be folded toward each other and be secured around bottle neck by a cap. In use, the carrying device is unfolded and having the hook segment available for attachment.

Abstract: A fast change electric transformer connector is disclosed, which includes a cable connector having a cable attachment body with a plurality of cable attachment ports, a connector extension connected to the cable attachment body, and a stud slide adaptor connected to a side of the connector extension; and a stud screw adaptor complimentary to a transformer stud, for connecting the transformer stud and the stud slide adaptor of the cable connector. Further disclosed is a transformer adaptor, which includes an inter-connector having a screw threaded end for connecting to a cable connector, and a stud slide adaptor for adapting to a transformer stud; and a stud screw adaptor for connecting the transformer stud and the stud slide adaptor of the inter-connector. Using the transformer connector or adaptor of the present invention, a transformer can be replaced rapidly without disconnecting cables.

Abstract: A method for prevention and treatment of multiple sclerosis and other demyelinating conditions is disclosed. The method includes two subsequent phases. In each phase, a patient orally administers daily a regimen which includes a specific combination of amino acids, fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. The particular regimens provide vital nutrients necessary to re-build fatty acids that may have been lost or reduced in the myelin sheathing and other locations of brain, therefore decrease one's susceptibility to multiple sclerosis and prevent reoccurrence of the disease.

Abstract: An absorption-type air conditioner core structure is provided, which uses lithium bromide solution as absorbent and has a small volume and compact structure. The air conditioner core structure includes an upper vessel (24) and a lower vessel (21). The upper vessel and lower vessel are connected by a refrigerant water pipe (22), a cooling water pipe (7), a heating steam pipe (5), two concentrate solution pipes (27, 58) and two dilute solution pipes (46, 52). The concentrate solution and dilute solution pipes are disposed within a solution pipe protecting cover (23) which connects to both vessels. Because of its compact structure, small volume, fewer welding seams, high level of vacuum, and having the heat exchange pipes (30, 39, 61, 73) of the condenser 1, low temperature generator 2, evaporator 10 and absorber 11 all made of helical copper pipes, the air conditioner core structure has high heat exchange efficiency.

Abstract: An infant motor skill developmental aid apparatus is disclosed, which includes a support base having a planar top surface and a bottom surface, a top tray having an opening for accepting an infant upper body, and a connection means connected between the support base and the top tray. Further disclosed is a method of assisting infant motor skill development, which includes providing the infant motor skill developmental aid apparatus; placing an infant inside the apparatus through the opening of the top tray and having the infant sitting on the support base with arms on top of the top tray; adjusting the top tray to an appropriate height depending on the infant age; and having the infant playing inside the apparatus for a period of time. The apparatus and the method enhance infant's acquisition of normal motor and early learning skills.
