  • Patent number: 6293765
Abstract: A tandem fixed displacement pump circuit with torque control includes first and second pumps that draw fluid from a reservoir to supply respective load circuits, pressure relief valves for each of the load circuits, and a pilot operated sequence valve that monitors the pressure for each of the circuits and reduces the pressure of one of the circuits as the pressure in the other circuit rises. The sequence valve modulates to control the pressure in the secondary priority circuit so that a predetermined input torque value is not exceeded.

  • Patent number: 6293863
Abstract: A seed package handling system is provided for a test plot combine. A seed packaging assembly in the combine packages the seeds and deposits the packages onto a conveyor, which transports the packages to a first hopper. After the first hopper has received a predetermined quantity or weight of seed, the first hopper is raised on an elevator and then tilted so as to dump the seed packages into a larger second hopper. After the second hopper has received a predetermined quantity or weight of seed, the second hopper is tilted to discharge the seed packages into a wagon separate from the combine, which transports the seed packages to a processing facility. The movement of the conveyor and first hopper is controlled by a PLC.

  • Patent number: 6294756
Abstract: A thick film low value high frequency inductor made by the process of subjecting a conductor layer to a plurality of linear cuts by a pulsing laser cutter imposed simultaneously on the entire length of the linear cut being made to create a cross sectional cut of substantial rectangular configuration. The conductor body is a layer of dried silver thick film ink. The method of making a thick film low value high frequency inductor involves the steps of taking a conductor layer comprised of a dried layer of photo sensitive silver ink, masking the ink with the negative of the desired configuration of the ink, exposing the ink to UV radiation, developing the ink, and firing the layer to adhere the silver to the layer.

  • Patent number: 6290590
Abstract: A method and apparatus for cutting sausages squeezes the meat inside the casing by a crimping wheel to move the meat emulsion away from the linking point to provide sufficient casing to close the ends of the proposed links and to prevent bursting of the casing. This is accomplished by passing the unlinked sausage strand over a crimping wheel to crimp the proposed linking points, reshaping the sausage strand at the linking points, and then subsequently cutting the precrimped link points.

  • Patent number: 6289963
Abstract: A dual closure system for overhead doors in a structure having a floor, a vertical wall, a ceiling structure, and a rectangular door opening in the wall which extends from the floor upwardly in a direction towards the ceiling has a pair of spaced tracks with a vertical segment extending upwardly from the floor adjacent vertical sides of the door opening, and terminating through curved track segments into a pair of vertically horizontal upper and lower track portions. The curved track segments both have lower ends arcuately merging into alignment with an upper end of the vertical segments of tracks. The upper ends of the curved track segments terminate in vertically spaced horizontal track portions. First and second foldable doors which have sets of rollers on their side edges are movably mounted one each in the horizontal portions of the track so that each door can be individually moved into a vertical position in the vertical segment of the tracks.
