Abstract: A method for panorama exposure correction can begin with the receiving of a hemispherical-coverage panoramic digital image set by a panoramic image stitching system. The hemispherical-coverage panoramic digital image set can be comprised of a ceiling image and at least three side images that are all captured simultaneously. The images of the image set can be aligned to create a panoramic image. Based on the alignment, overlapping regions between two adjacent side images and the ceiling image can be identified, the placement of blending seams can be determined, and the region of each image affected by a exposure correction can be determined. The exposure correction for each identified overlapping region can be determined. The exposure of the affected region of each image can then be adjusted in accordance with the determined exposure correction. A gradient blending can be performed for a predefined area across the blending seams.

Abstract: A virtual camera within a volumetric model of a real world environment during an event occurring within the real world environment can be identified. The virtual camera can be associated with at least one of a location and an orientation within the real world environment. A virtual stream for the virtual camera can be constructed. The field of view of the stream can include video obtained from two cameras present within the real world environment and video not captured by a camera within the real world environment. The video field point of view can correspond to at least one of the location and orientation of the virtual camera. The virtual stream of the virtual camera can be presented within an interface of computing device responsive to the constructing.

Abstract: A user activation of an image capture function of a mobile device is received. The image capture function is for a surround image mode. Two or more camera lenses are approximately concurrently activated. A front-side image from a first camera lens and a rear-side image from a second camera lens can be optically captured. A second front-side image from the first camera lens and a second rear-side image from the second camera lens can be optically captured responsive to a manual pan/tilt/zoom operation of the front-side or rear-side lense. Content from the front-side images and content from the rear-side images are recorded in a non-transitory storage medium of the mobile device within a single file for a surround mode image.
