Abstract: A method performed by a UE for repetition transmissions is provided. The method includes receiving DCI scheduling an uplink transmission; identifying a DCI format of the DCI; selecting, from a plurality of sets of preconfigured values, a set of preconfigured values that is mapped to the DCI format; and determining a number of times the uplink transmission is required to be repeated from the selected set of preconfigured values. A UE applying the same method is also provided.
Abstract: A semiconductor device includes a bottom electrode; a magnetic tunneling junction (MTJ) element over the bottom electrode; a top electrode over the MTJ element; and a sidewall spacer abutting the MTJ element, wherein at least one of the bottom electrode, the top electrode, and the sidewall spacer includes a magnetic material.
Abstract: An immersion cooling system includes a plurality of spaced-apart cooling plates defining a plurality of subvolumes therebetween, the cooling plates at least partially immersed in a first liquid coolant, so that the first liquid coolant at least partially fills each subvolume; a second liquid coolant flowing through at least a portion of each cooling plate; and at least one electronic device at least partially immersed in the first liquid coolant within each subvolume.
Abstract: A terahertz detector and a method of manufacturing a terahertz detector, wherein the terahertz detector including a substrate (2) and at least one detection unit. Each detection unit includes: a channel material (1) arranged on the substrate, two electrodes (3, 4) respectively in ohmic contact with both ends of the channel material (1) in a longitudinal direction, and a three-dimensional grapheme (5) in direct or indirect thermal contact with the channel material (1).

Abstract: A method for calibrating a control system configured to control a two-wire heater includes providing power to a load electrically coupled to the control system, generating, an initial measured characteristic and a calibrated measured characteristic of the load by the control system and a controller calibration system, respectively. The method further includes defining a calibrated measurement reference based on a correlation of the initial measured characteristic and the calibrated measured characteristic. With the calibrated measure reference, the control system is further calibrated to define a resistance-temperature calibration reference for determining a working temperature of the two-wire heater based on a measured resistance of the two-wire heater.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method of fabricating a thermoelectric device. The method includes disposing a metal layer on a dielectric layer to form a sub-assembly, forming patterned circuits on the metal layer, forming blind vias in the dielectric layer, fabricating first thermoelectric elements in a first series of blind vias, and fabricating second thermoelectric elements in a second series of blind vias to form thermoelectric units with the first thermoelectric elements and the patterned circuits. The sub-assembly is configured to be joined to an adjacent sub-assembly along a first direction, and the first and second thermoelectric elements of each thermoelectric unit are aligned in a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction. The present disclosure further relates to a thermoelectric device which includes a plurality of thermoelectric units forming a strip extending in a first direction.

Abstract: An optical system includes a light source, an optical film curved about a first axis, and a light control film curved about the first axis and disposed between the light source and the optical film. The optical film includes a microstructured first major surface and an opposing second major surface. The microstructured first major surface defines a linear Fresnel lens including a plurality of Fresnel elements extending longitudinally along the first axis. The first major surface of the optical film faces the light control film. The light control film includes a plurality of alternating optically transmissive and optically absorptive regions extending longitudinally along the first axis such that in a cross-section orthogonal to the first axis, for at least a majority of the optically transmissive regions, a centerline between adjacent optically absorptive regions is substantially normal to a major surface of the light control film.

Abstract: A nonwoven web for an absorbent article is provided. The nonwoven web comprises a first surface, a second surface, and a visually discernible pattern of three-dimensional features on the first surface or the second surface. The three-dimensional features comprise one or more first regions and a plurality of second regions. The one or more first regions are different than the plurality of second regions in a value of an average intensive property. The one or more first regions comprise a first line, a second line, and a third line extending at least partially intermediate the first line and the second line. The first line and the second line extend in substantially the same direction. The third line extends in a direction transverse to the first line and the second line.
