  • Patent number: 12002035
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for metaverse authentication using NFTs. An authentication setup request for an NFT can be received from an owner of the NFT. Then, a unique authentication credential for the NFT can be requested from an NFT smart contract. In response, URL of an edge wallet associated with an owner of the unique authentication credential is received. Then, a request can be sent to the URI of the edge wallet for the unique authentication credential. In response, a signed challenge is received from the edge wallet and a public key is retrieved from the NFT. A signature of the signed challenge is determined to be valid based at least in part on the public key, and access to an asset or resource is configured based at least in part on the signature of the signed challenge being valid.

  • Patent number: 11999149
Abstract: A method of removing a backing layer from a panel, made of an uncured pre-impregnated fiber-reinforced polymer, comprises a step of orienting the panel into a backing-separation orientation relative to an edge-engagement tool. The method also comprises a step of positioning the panel into a backing-separation position relative to the edge-engagement tool. The method further comprises a step of moving the edge-engagement tool, when the panel is in the backing-separation orientation and the backing-separation position, so that backing-engagement features of the edge-engagement tool engage the backing layer, at only an edge portion of the backing layer, and just the edge portion of the backing layer separates from the panel. The method additionally comprises a step of gripping the edge portion of the backing layer, and, when gripped, moving the backing layer relative to the panel so that an entirety of the backing layer separates from the panel.

  • Publication number: 20240174423
Abstract: The present invention addresses the problem of making it possible to repeatedly use a cushioning material that protects an object. Packaging 1 comprises a storage part 20 and a cushioning material having a bag-shaped body 10. The storage part 20 is a container of a material such as, for example, plastic. The storage part 20 has an opening 21. The storage part 20 allows an object such as a camera to be stored, from the opening 21. The cushioning material having the bag-shaped body 10 is provided. If a first condition (such as a lid 23 of the storage part having been closed) is satisfied, the bag-shaped body 10 inflates and applies a prescribed pressure to a camera A to support the camera A, and if a second condition (such as the lid 23 of the storage part 20 having been opened) is satisfied, the bag-shaped body deflates to release the pressure on the camera A. The above problem is thus resolved.

  • Patent number: 11993235
Abstract: A system and method for detecting the operational status of a brake system on a railcar. The system receives from a sensor an indication of the magnitude of a braking force applied by the braking system in response to an instruction to increase or decrease the braking force. It compares the response to possible responses of the braking system in view of the instruction provided. Based on the comparison, the system generates at least one of a message and/or an alert indicating the status of the brake system. Additional sensors, including a pressure sensor on a brake pipe of the railcar, can be added for additional functionality.
