    Abstract: A resealable envelope comprising a flexible plastic back sheet, a backing adhesive applied on a back surface of the flexible plastic back sheet to attach the envelope to a package, a flexible plastic front sheet attached to the back sheet at their respective side edges and bottom edges, a flexible closure flap being adhered directly to the front surface of the back sheet at their respective top edges via a permanent adhesive and overlapping said front sheet, and a resealable adhesive located proximal to the top edge of the front sheet such that the resealable adhesive is capable of fastening said closure flap to the front sheet forming a resealable closure.

    Abstract: A printer which comprises a printing roll mounted upon a main shaft for rotation, an ink roll presented in axial parallel relationship to said printing roll and having heat-soluble ink, a clutch brake unit operatively connected to said printing roll and ink roll for controlling rotation thereof consonant with the printing interval of material to be printed responsive to a feeding mechanism, an encoder for translating the rate of speed of said material into a pulse of unit length. A heat sleeve is concentrically disposed upon said main shaft for rotation therewith; there being a heater element provided within said heat sleeve. A printing type holder is removably mounted on the outer periphery of said heat sleeve for receiving ink from said ink roller. A power supply shaft cooperates with said feed mechanism, and a quill shaft is provided for operative connection to said power supply shaft to transmit rotation to said printing roll and ink roll.

    Abstract: A method of bonding a label having a thermosensitive adhesive provided on the under surface thereof which comprises providing a label from a supply roll, severing same therefrom and delivering such to a heat transferrable conveyor, providing heat to said conveyor, both during travel and interruptions thereof, for rendering said label tacky, peelingly removing said tackified label from said conveyor in timed relation to an article or object traveling thereby for disposition thereon. Apparatus for accomplishing the series of operations in the above-described method for rendering a thermosensitive adhesive equipped label tacky and automatically applying same to the object to be labeled.
