Patents Assigned to A.J. Manufacturing, Inc.
  • Patent number: 9744544
Abstract: A plural component mixing system includes an automatic balance feature to balance the pressure of two or more components as they are mixed. The pressures or flow rates of the two components are monitored. If there is a difference in pressure or flow rate greater than a specified amount, a bleed valve is opened for a short period of time to balance the flows. A computer with a touch screen is used to set the pressure and flow rate differences that trigger the bleed, and to set the time period for the bleed.

  • Patent number: 9057220
Abstract: A plastic window frame trim is for installation of a window in a corrugated metal building wall having a cut opening with a top edge, bottom edge, and side edges, each of the edges being backed by framing members. The window frame trim includes: a frame header J-channel with a flange; a frame footer J-channel with a flange; a pair of nailing fins; and fasteners. The trim header J-channel, footer J-channel, and nailing fins are attached to the window frame. The window frame is lifted so frame header J-channel flange slides between the top edge of the metal building wall and a framing member at the top of the cut opening. The window is lowered so footer J-channel flange slides between the bottom edge of the metal building wall and a framing member at the bottom of the cut opening so that window frame rest on the window sill. Fasteners attach the window frame to the framing members through the metal building wall. Trim caps snap over the nailing fins to finish the trimmed window.

  • Patent number: 6234274
Abstract: An apparatus for retrofitting a vehicle for removing spent oil from an oil pan reservoir installed in an access aperture located in a floor bottom of the oil pan reservoir. The device includes a low profile quick connect nipple having a first end threadably sealing into the access aperture and a second end releasably engagable with a mating fitting positioned on an externally located fluid delivery device and further having a fluid tight closure when the second end is disengaged from the fluid delivery device. The apparatus has a center throughbore having a movable member therein. The movable member includes a stem and a circular flared portion. A retainer clip is securely attached to an upper end of the stem. A ring configuration has a center through aperture for receiving the stem and radial connections extending to the periphery of the throughbore. The ring configuration centers the stem and defines a stop for the movable member when the retainer clip contacts the ring configuration.

  • Patent number: 5035166
Abstract: A sawmill includes a band saw mounted on a trolley. The trolley carries the band saw back and forth across the length of a log to cut it into boards. A log supporting table is adjustable to accomodate logs of various size. The trolley rails descend incrementally after each cut to reposition the band saw blade for the next cut. The length of each increment, or board thickness, is user selectable by way of an indexable detent bar and limit switch combination. The thickness across the board is held uniform by a pressurized bellows that maintains the proper blade strain in the band saw blade.
