The radio is designed to function in both extreme hot and cold temperatures. The radio also features RCA inputs, so that external signal inputs may be played on the radio's speakers. A cellular modem and interface is present so that a computer can connect to the Internet. An adapter is also present so a cell phone can connect to the radio, and use the radio's speakers. The speakers can be magnetic coil based, or may use flat panel speaker technology.
