Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for data communication, where the data compression and decompression is performed by use of a specific hash table, by which data compression a symbol for each data segment is generated, which symbols are transmitted to the receiver, in which receiver the symbols are decompressed by use of the specific hash table. It is the object of the invention to perform reliably and fast data transmission between communication devices by data compression. A further object of the inventions is to perform a secure communication between computerized devices.

  • Publication number: 20090163168
Abstract: The invention provides a method to initialize an iterative signal estimation algorithm, such as an expectation-maximization type algorithm, the method including the step of performing a non-parametric noise reduction method. Preferably, the non-parametric noise reduction method includes performing a spectral subtraction such as a power spectral subtraction and more preferably a weighted power spectral subtraction. Method according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the iterative signal estimation algorithm includes performing an expectation-maximization algorithm. Especially, the initialization may be used for an iterative signal estimation algorithm that includes performing a prediction error Kalman filtering followed by a local variance estimation. Preferably, the iterative signal estimation algorithm includes performing a signal estimation step including a Kalman filtering, and the iterations in the iterative signal estimation algorithm are preferably performed inter-frame sequentially.

  • Publication number: 20090052703
Abstract: A binaural technology method includes: determining positions related to position of both ears of a listener, receiving a wireless RF signal including binaural audio data is received, and presenting the binaural audio data to the listener By determining ear positions of a listener e.g. in 3D, information of the listener's position e.g. in a virtual environment is known, and further by wireless transmitting binaural audio signals to the listener, it becomes possible to transmit 3D audio data matching the listener's position and movements accordingly. Further, since the position of both ears is known, it is possible to individually match the binaural audio data to the listener, since it is possible to derive from the ear positions a distance between the listener's ears, and hereby a valuable parameter is known that can be used to generate binaural signals that individually fits the listener. Thus, the listener can be provided with a better 3D audio experience.

  • Patent number: 7477936
Abstract: A system or a method for analysing ECG curvature wherein at least one among a number of different parameters is isolated, for indicating symptoms of diseases having influence on the ECG curvature. The system and method provides for objective, fast and effective indication of a number of symptoms derivable from an ECG curve which may be indicative of one or more diseases. This can be achieved when a first number of selected parameters are combined in at least a first mathematical analysis, where the result of the analysis can be represented as a point in a coordinate system comprising at least two axes where the system can compare the actual placement in the coordinate system with a number of reference parameters stored in the system for indicating diseases having influence on the ECG curvature.

  • Patent number: 7312549
Abstract: In order to improve the torque per weight ratio in electrical machines for a lower price it is proposed to use a segmented stator design. The segmented stator design is based on general E shaped cores traditionally used for single-phased transformers and inductors, The E-cores has a coil around the centered leg and is assembled parallel to the rotor axis, which means it will function with the transverse flux principle. A radial flux principle can also be performed with the E-cores if the E-cores are divided into two U-sections with a full pitch winding in between them. A clear extra advantage with the E-cores is short flux paths meaning less steel has to be magnetised. For a low volume production standard E-cores can be used making the investment in production facilities smaller. The E-core machines using the transverse principle can have different pole-shapes such the normal force between the rotor and stator are significantly reduced.

  • Publication number: 20070208264
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system or a method for analysing drug influence on ECG curvature and Long QT Syndrome where at least one among a number of different parameters is isolated, which system has a input means connected to an ECG source, where the different parameters of a received ECG curvature and indicated and/or isolated and for indicating possible symptoms which relates to or are indications of certain diseases, where said diseases are known to influence the ECG curvature. The aim of the invention is to achieve a system and a method for diagnosing Long QT Syndrome in an objective, fast and effective way by indication of a number of symptoms derivable from an ECG curve. Further aim of the invention is to achieve an effective test of drug influence on ECG curvature.

  • Patent number: 6866709
Abstract: The present invention relates to compositions comprising the reaction product of amorphous silica or ultra-fine silica and one or more bases. The present invention also relates to materials and method involving the use of such products. In particular, the present invention i.a. relates to new mineral wool products, e.g. products comprising man-made vitreous fibres (such as glass fibres, slag fibres, stone fibres and rock fibres) or perlite, having included therein a binder component which comprises amorphous silica and aklali metal organosiliconates, e.g. potassium methyl siliconate. An important feature of such products is the preparation of the binder systems under vigorous mixing. Such products provide good fire, heat and sound insulating properties. The present invention also provides to a method for removing odorous substances from a gas where materials prepared from ultra-fine silica, water, and one or more components enabling porosity-conferring binding of the material, e.g. a base or bases.
