Abstract: A simple cord locking device which may also be used for ribbons comprising a sleeve and a slide moveable therein. The latter is manufactured from a rigid plastic material and comprises a head, a body, in which an opening and at least a groove are formed, and a spring formed integral with the body. Within a prismatic outer contour the spring is formed as a web of material extending in zig-zag. The sleeve is formed as a planar box, open at one short side thereof and having openings formed in the long sides thereof.
Abstract: A device for mounting the attachment part of an element, for instance a button, buckle, clamp, etc., into an opening, preferably a slot shaped opening of the button hole type in a piece of garment. The attachment part is formed with a neck dimensioned for being tightly encompassed by the opening in the operative position of the neck. A disc shaped fixing member of the attachment part is arranged for being placed inside the opening. An angled slot is formed in the disc shaped fixing member and at the bottom thereof there is a distance across the fixing member which is to an external end point of said member at a maximum equal to the length of the opening, between the area of contact of the bottom against the edge of the opening and the area where the external end point passes the opening.
Abstract: A permanent tracheostoma is often necessary in patients with respiratory diseases such as severe bronchial asthma or chronic bronchitis in order to reduce dead space. Another group of patients who require a permanent tracheostoma are those with laryngeal stenoses or bilateral vocal cord pareses whose general condition makes them unsuitable candidates for more advanced surgical procedures. The invention provides a two-way tracheostoma valve adjustable for either inspiration and expiration or for inspiration only in which case it also serves as a speech valve. The valve comprises three main elements: a cylindrical housing, a complementary shaped cover, and a disc-like-element disposed within said housing and cover and arranged for displacement therein. The cover has a circular end having an off-center opening forming an air inlet/outlet or inlet only depending on the position of the cover.
Abstract: A device for keeping a door, a window, a shutter, etc., in a closed position. The device comprises operating elements housed in a casing attachable to a bar. The operating elements are connected to an element maneuvering at least one bolt.A lock part of the device is formed as an insert of a predetermined dimension having a lock of an optional lock type therein and arranged for being inserted directly into the housing within a space of a corresponding dimension.
