    Abstract: An LED lighting system has anti-flickering capabilities. The LED lighting system comprises: a rectifier, wherein the rectifier generates a rectified input voltage; a lighting block; and an energy storage device (“ESD”) for generating a first voltage, wherein if the rectified voltage is less than a predefined threshold voltage, the generated first voltage is applied to the lighting block, else, the rectified input voltage is applied to the lighting block and to the ESD.
