  • Patent number: 5452853
Abstract: A sprayer for applying an uncured grout to the interior surface of an enclosed wall includes a sprayer motor having a rotor rotatably mounted within the motor housing. A spray head is attached to the rotor and a spray conduit is adapted to introduce fluid grout under pressure to the spray head so that it will be thrown radially outwardly in a circular pattern. The motor and spray head are inserted into a conduit and actuated to throw the grout outwardly on to the interior walls of the elongated conduit.

  • Patent number: 5032197
Abstract: The present method includes casting a poured concrete liner in an existing manhole with a protective acid resistant plastic material covering the interior surface of the newly poured concrete liner. A plurality of arcuate form panels are assembled into a circular form spaced radially inwardly from the existing manhole wall so as to create an annular space therebetween. Plastic sheeting is then fitted around the outside of the form with protrusions extending outwardly from the plastic surface into the annular space. Concrete is poured into the annular space and surrounds the plastic protrusions to bind the plastic sheeting thereto. The forms are removed after curing of the concrete, thereby leaving the plastic liner on the inside wall of the newly poured concrete.

  • Patent number: 5017313
Abstract: A form assembly for casting a lining wall in an existing manhole includes a cylindrical lower form assembly, a circular horizontal form assembly, and a cylindrical upper form assembly. All three assemblies are formed of smaller segments which are assembled together within the manhole and which can be disassembled after the manhole has been repaired.

  • Patent number: 4997602
Abstract: A collection of sheet-metal, flanged, arcuate panels is provided which panels can be assembled in belts of generally circular cross-section commencing from the bottom of the manhole to provide a complete form structure for casting a concrete liner with a minimum thickness of about three inches and including openings created by sectional cylindrical inserts, all of which can be assembled, then disassembled after the concrete liner has set. An extensive variety of panels to accomodate different shapes of manholes includes panels for forming right conical belts, for forming offset conical belts, and for forming wedge-shaped belts to make transitions between vertical and tilted sections of the manhole. A key-panel for these various belts is provided to prevent capture of the panels by the poured concrete liners which includes a relatively narrow portion with vertical flanges fixed at an angle to one another which angle diverges toward the center of the form structure.
