Abstract: A grass cutting unit (1) includes a frame (2) and, provided in connection with the frame: a cutter (3) for cutting grass and support elements (4; 41, 42) for supporting the cutting unit (1) against the ground, particularly when cutting grass. The cutting unit (1) is provided with a cutting height setting device. In a most preferred embodiment of the invention, the cutting height setting device includes two lead screws (7; 71, 72; 73, 74) that are connected to the ends of both support reels (4; 41, 42), and the corresponding nut elements are connected to the frame; by rotating the lead screws by driving motors, advantageously electric motors (6; 61, 62), each support reel can be moved essentially in the vertical direction, and simultaneously the cutting height can be adjusted within the desired limits.

Abstract: A fastening device for detachably fastening a supplementary apparatus to a main apparatus with a part belonging to it, such as a rod, pin, projection, shaft, or similar, includes a longitudinal frame (2) and slide (3), which are attached and fitted to each other so that they can be moved in relation to each other between two positions (A, B) and in the connection of which there are provided the first and, respectively, the second closing part (4, 5), via which the rod of the supplementary apparatus etc. can be attached to the fastening device and to the apparatus etc., and a locking element (6) for immovably locking the frame (2) and slide (3) to each other and, respectively, for releasing them from each other. A work vehicle, in which the fastening device is applied is described.

Abstract: An arrangement for adjusting the position of the cutting elements (7) of a cutting device (1) meant for cutting vegetation. The cutting elements include a cutting unit (9) and a lifting and lowering device (4; 4a). The arrangement includes measuring elements (10; 10a, 10b) and an adjusting unit (5a). An advantageous motional range (L) for the cutting unit is defined in the arrangement. The measuring elements are arranged to detect the position of the cutting unit in relation to the advantageous motional range and to transmit the position data to the adjusting unit arranged to receive the position data and control the lifting and lowering device on the basis thereof. The lifting and lowering device is arranged to adjust the position of the cutting unit on the basis of instructions received in the position adjusting unit in order to maintain the position of the cutting unit within an advantageous motional range.

Abstract: A recovered waste processing arrangement is fitted in an independently movable power tool for maintaining the environment. The power tool includes at least one processing unit provided with a processing device. The processing unit is connected to the frame of the power tool. The arrangement includes: a chamber connected to the processing unit for receiving recovered waste from the processing device; a discharge aperture connected to the chamber; a transport duct, the first end of which is connected to a discharge aperture; a collecting tank connected to the power tool frame and to the second end of the transport duct; a first blower arranged between the processing unit chamber and the collecting tank, via which air and recovered waste carried along with air are sucked through the transport duct from the processing unit and blown into the collecting tank; and a second blower connected to the chamber by an air duct.
