Abstract: A method for manufacturing a vehicle interior component includes depositing an expanding foam within an internal cavity of a mold. The internal cavity is shaped to form the vehicle interior component. The method also includes placing a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag in a desired position and/or orientation on a surface of the expanding foam such that the expanding foam bonds to the RFID tag as the expanding foam cures.
Abstract: A drive device for a Bowden control comprises at least one electric actuator and a mechanism connected to the Bowden control. The actuator and mechanism are surrounded by at least one housing. The housing comprises a closable cover in a connecting region between the mechanism and the Bowden control.
Abstract: A vehicle seating system includes a latch having multiple teeth configured to engage respective windows within a rail to selectively block movement of a vehicle seat relative to the rail. The latch includes a first tooth and a second tooth longitudinally separated from one another. The first tooth includes an inner surface configured to contact a longitudinal end of a first window while the first tooth is engaged with the first window to block movement of the latch relative to the rail along a first longitudinal direction, and the second tooth includes an inner surface configured to contact a longitudinal end of a second window while the second tooth is engaged with the second window to block movement of the latch relative to the rail along a second longitudinal direction, opposite the first longitudinal direction.
Abstract: A headrest (1) for a vehicle includes a main element (2) on which a wing element (3) is mounted by means of a hinge (4) so as to be rotatable about a substantially vertical axis. So as to create a frictional locking function, the hinge (4) includes a shaft (41) with a projection (43) as well as a bush (42) with a receptacle (44) that is associated with the projection (43). The shaft (41) is mounted in the bush (42), and in a locked position the projection (43) engages into the receptacle (44).
Abstract: A head restraint may include a support structure with an opening, adjustable flexible elongated members, and an adjustment mechanism. The elongated members may be attached to the support structure, may span the opening in the support structure, and may be configured to support a user's head. The adjustment mechanism may be configured to at least one of automatically and/or manually adjust tension of at least portions of the elongated members spanning the opening.

Abstract: A rail pair (1), for a vehicle seat (10), includes at least a lower seat rail (S1) and an upper seat rail (S2), which engage around one another in such a way that a rail profile is formed and which can be moved in relation to each other in a longitudinal direction (L) and can be interlocked by a rail locking device (2). Rolling elements (4) are arranged between the seat rails (S1, S2) in an interaction region. The upper seat rail (S2) includes two side walls (S2.1, S2.2), which two side walls (S2.1, S2.2), in a vertical orientation, protrude largely in parallel and perpendicularly from a bottom region (S2.3). One of the side walls (S2.2) is bent outward in a continued course in some regions of the longitudinal direction (L).
