A computer system displays a set of tiles within a first area of a graphical user interface, each tile corresponding to a set of data nodes that are composable into structured data objects according to a domain-specific language. Dragging a selected tile from the first area to a drop zone within a second area of the graphical user interface appends the corresponding set of data nodes into a structured data object. Receiving a user input that sets focus on the drop zone displays a text field that replaces the drop zone w. A drop-down list is associated with the text field. The drop-down list consists of a set of permissible tiles for data nodes that can be appended to the structured data object according to a context of the structured data object.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for reducing an amount of resources required for address validation. An address validation program running on a processor unit configures a tax information table in a payroll database to have an authorization column indicating whether an employee having data in a row of the tax information table has authorized release of data in the row; receives a validation request for at least one validated address entered in one or more request fields in a graphical user interface connected to the processor unit; searches only rows having an indication of authorization in the authorization column of the tax information table; and responsive to finding at least one current address in the tax information table, displays the at least one current address in one or more response fields of the graphical user interface as the at least one validated address.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for migrating data. A computer system locates information about a structure used to store the data in a source database. The computer system identifies similarities between first columns in the source database and second columns in a destination database based on column names and compatible data types in the information. The computer system also displays suggestions for matches between the first columns in the source database and the second columns in the destination database on a display system based on the similarities identified. Further, the computer system receives user input to the suggestions, enabling reaching a desired level of matching to migrate the data from the source database to the destination database.

An authentication system receives the transaction over a particular channel of a plurality of support channels. A risk score is determined for the transaction based on a number of contextual risk factors. An authentication scheme is determined from a number of authentication schemes for authenticating an identity of the user within an authentication context. The authentication scheme is determined based on the particular channel and the risk score. In response to successfully authenticating the identity of the user within the authentication context, the authentication system determines whether the transaction is a permitted transaction based on an assurance level associated with the authentication context. In response to determining that the transaction is the permitted transaction, the transaction is authenticated.

A selection of a human resources operation is received from a mobile application executing on the mobile device; a business rule corresponding to the human resources operation is identified. The business rule comprises a plurality of linked metadata objects forming a syntax tree. The plurality of linked metadata objects is interpreted to implement the business rule, Interpreting comprises sending a first set of chat messages that request input for the plurality of linked metadata objects, and receiving a second set of chat messages that provide the requested input. The human resources operation is performed according to the business rule, generating a workflow stage notification, and publishing the workflow stage notification to a set of mobile devices for display on a timeline of the mobile application.

Abstract: In response to determining that an application programming interface call made in response to a first request for the call has failed and that no fail entry has been set for the call, aspects increment a fail count value and set a fail entry for the call that includes a fail response generated by the failure of the call; in response to determining that the call has failed in response to a subsequent, second request for the call, determine whether the incremented fail count value meets a limit value, and if so, set a paused timestamp value for the fail entry; and in response to additional requests for the call occurring within a pause period of time from the paused timestamp value, pause making the call and return the fail entry set for the call in satisfaction of said additional requests.

A computer system identifies an employee in a live view on a mobile display system according to biometric data and identifies HR information associated with the employee using the biometric data and a policy. The computer system displays the HR information associated with the employee in augmented reality information on the live view on the mobile display system.

Abstract: Training an artificial intelligence system to process agency notices. The process identifies historical data that includes historical text generated from optical character recognition performed on historical images of the agency notices and historical metadata for items in the historical images of the agency notices. The process generates annotations for the historical text. The annotations identify the items in the historical text and locations of the items in the historical text. The process trains the artificial intelligence system using the historical data and the annotations.

Abstract: A method for maintaining a user profile representing evolving user profile data of a first user, the user profile accessible by a first organization and a second organization without communication between the first organization and the second organization. The method includes creating the user profile by a remote computer based on feedbacks from a corresponding users of the first organization communicating with the remote computer via an application programming interface operating on the remote computer. The user profile data of the user profile is stored on a data source operated only by the third organization. The application programming interface and the remote computer enable connection, over a second network, between a second computer operated by the second organization and the data source having the user profile data. The method further includes thereafter granting access to the user profile to the second computer via the application programming interface.
