Abstract: Described is a carriage (1) for moving on a cable and/or rail comprising: a wheel (2) equipped with its own rotation shaft (3) and configured to rotate on a cable (C) and/or rail; braking masses (4) positioned parallel to the wheel (2) and made of non-magnetic material; magnetic masses (5) configured to generate a magnetic field; and a self-adjusting device (6), connected to the braking masses (4) and positioned inside the rotation shaft (3) of the wheel (2), configured for moving the braking masses (4) close to the magnetic masses (5) along a direction (D) parallel to an axis of extension of the rotation shaft (3), as a function of an increase in a speed of rotation of a wheel (2), in such a way that the magnetic masses (5) generate eddy currents by electromagnetic induction defining a slowing force proportional to the feed speed of the carriage (1).

Abstract: According to some illustrative embodiments, a modular mounting system for mounting accessories on vehicles includes: a) a plurality of support members, each of said plurality of support members having i) a lower upright planar member configured to extend downward along a peripheral wall around a vehicle bed, ii) a cross planar member extending laterally from the lower upright planar member and configured to extend across the peripheral wall around the vehicle bed, and iii) an upper upright planar member extending upwardly from the cross planar member and configured to extend upwardly above a height of the peripheral wall around the vehicle bed; and b) at least one of: i) a removable cross-bar removably supported by a plurality of said upper upright planar members; and ii) a removable side panel removably supported by a plurality of said upright planar members.

In the preferred embodiments, the vehicle tailgate cover and/or pad system is uniquely configured to provide a vehicle tailgate with a flat and padded surface. In some preferred embodiments, the vehicle tailgate cover system is fixed to a vehicle tailgate and has a base of rigid material, the base having a front surface that is substantially flat, and the base including at least one mounting through-hole for mounting the vehicle tailgate cover system to the vehicle tailgate with fasteners, and a padding layer attached to the base at the front surface of the base.

Abstract: The quick release interconnect includes a mount member that includes a cleat and a top hanger seat. An attachment member includes a lower jaw that is spring-biased into an open condition that can be secured closed by a cam-lock lever. An upper jaw hanger is also provided to permit the attachment member to be hung on the top hanger seat while the attachment member and object are oriented in place. The upper jaw hanger member is located over the top hanger seat and then the attachment member is rotated in place so the lower jaw is aligned with the cleat. The cam lock lever is rotated to clamp the lower jaw into communication with the cleat portion of the mount member to secure the attachment member securely to the mount member. To release the attachment member, the process is reversed.

Abstract: A firewood sling includes a sheet of material with tensioners on opposing edges with a handle at one end. One or more roll straps are secured to the sheet and include fastening portions, at least one of which is adjustable in position. Pockets may be provided on one edge to receive cords engaging cord locks to form the tensioners. The pockets may include fasteners for holding them closed. The sling may include a wear resistant center portion and flexible side portions.

The mounting shaft is selectively mountable to the clamp in a first orientation or a second orientation. In the first orientation, the mounting shaft is secured to the clamp parallel to the longitudinal axis of the fishing rod and feeds a spinning reel. In the second orientation, the mounting shaft is secured to the clamp perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the fishing rod and feeds a casting reel.
