Abstract: A system and method for washing a jet engine of an aircraft are disclosed. The method comprises creating a collecting bowl under the jet engine by coupling a suit to the jet engine of the aircraft and coupling an apron of the suit to the jet engine. After the suit is coupled to the jet engine, a cleaning cycle is performed, which includes injecting cleaning fluid into the jet engine, turning over the jet engine, and collecting resultant effluent in the bowl. Further, the effluent remains in the bowl until actively removed by a user. The suit may be coupled to the aircraft by wrapping a strap around a pylon that couples the jet engine to the aircraft.
Abstract: A system for cleaning a jet engine with a first compressor stage and a second compressor stage comprises a water holding tank, a waterproof cover, and input hose coupled between the water holding tank and the waterproof cover. Further, the system includes a J-hook coupled to the input hose. The J-hook affixes to a front compressor stator of the second compressor stage of the jet engine. To clean the jet engine, fluid from the water holding tank is injected though the input hose and directed through the J-hook inside the engine.

Abstract: A method for cleaning a jet engine comprises storing fluid comprising water in a water holding tank. The water is heated to create heated fluid. The let engine desired to be cleaned is at least partially covered with a waterproof cover, and a J-hook is inserted into the jet engine and affixed to a front compressor stator of a second compressor stage of the jet engine. An input hose is coupled between the storage tank and the waterproof cover and the J-hook is coupled to the input hose. The heated fluid is injected into the jet engine via the input hose and J-hook, which directs the heated fluid inside the jet engine. The resultant effluent is collected in the waterproof cover.
