Abstract: In one embodiment, a method for cooling an engine damper, including converting a gas to a liquid, and cooling an engine damper by passing the liquid through a tube portion located between fan air flow and the engine damper.
Abstract: An apparatus is presented that receives first and second parameters including first parameters from plural harvesting machines, determines a batch unload for a specified quantity of material to unload from each of the harvesting machines, requests permission to receive the batch unload from one of the harvesting machines, and communicates a control signal to trigger the requested batch unload from the one of the harvesting machines.
Abstract: An air filtration system for an operator environment of an agricultural vehicle including at least one external inlet, a first filtration device having a coarser level of filtration located between the external inlet and an HVAC system, a second filtration device having a second finer level of filtration and an associated blower located between the external inlet and the HVAC system where the air filtration system selectively connects either the first filtration device to the HVAC system blower or the second filtration device and its associated blower to the HVAC system blower and a bypass permanently connects the HVAC system blower and the second filtration device.

Abstract: A tillage implement has a frame with a center section and first and second outer wing sections hingedly attached to respective outer ends of the center section. Controlling a pressure in a secondary side of a hydraulic circuit enables adjustment of the downward pressure precharge provided by hydraulic cylinders based on a desired stiffness of the implement. Flow from a hydraulic supply through a pressure-reducing valve puts the downward pressure precharge on gauge wheels. Once this desired downward pressure precharge has been achieved, flow from the hydraulic supply is shut off and a check valve holds the pressure such that the hydraulic cylinders hold the gauge wheels in the desired position.

Abstract: A towed agricultural implement including a main chassis member, a moveable arm for carrying at least one working implement located to each side of the main chassis member, each moveable arm being moveable between a working position and a transport position, the main chassis member having a support device for attachment to a towing vehicle, the support device having left and right lower attachment points for attaching to lower mounting points of a three point hitch of a towing vehicle and a central upper attachment point for attaching to the upper mounting point of the three point hitch, in which each left and right attachment point is mounted on an articulated arm connected to the main chassis member, the main chassis member further including a regulating control apparatus to secure and release a free end of each articulated arm in an operative position.
Abstract: In one embodiment, a steering system for a machine, the steering system comprising: a steer-by-wire system configured to provide rear wheel based steering, the steer-by-wire system comprising: a human-machine-interface (HMI) configured to provide a force feedback to the HMI that influences the HMI to a center position; plural sensors; and one or more controllers configured by executable code to receive input from one or more of the plural sensors and reduce a risk of rollover by: causing the rear wheels to maintain or return to straight forward travel in conjunction with the force feedback; and limiting a steering angle of the machine, beyond which a rollover condition occurs, based on computation of a rollover equation with parameters corresponding to the input and machine geometry.
Abstract: In a hydraulic system, such as for a tractor or other agricultural vehicle, a main supply pump supplies fluid to a steering system through a steering circuit and a second pump supplies fluid to a cooling fan motor. The second pump is connected with the steering circuit to provide a second a source of fluid to the steering system when the main supply pump is unable to meet demand. A prioritization valve regulates the flow of fluid from the second pump to the motor. The second pump acts as a secondary pump for the steering system and drives a cooling fan.
Abstract: A combine harvester with a variable length wheelbase. For example, a combine harvester may have a chassis defining a forward end and a rear end, a feeder house at the forward end of the chassis, a first set of ground-engaging elements supporting the forward end of the chassis, and a second set of ground-engaging elements supporting the rear end of the chassis. The second set of ground-engaging elements are configured to move forward and rearward relative to the chassis.
Abstract: A controller for an agricultural sprayer machine is configured to receive for each of a plurality of nozzle sets a respective upper pressure limit, a nozzle reference flow, and a nozzle reference pressure. For each one of the plurality of nozzle sets, a speed setpoint is calculated based upon the application rate setpoint, the nozzle reference flow, the nozzle reference pressure, and the product pressure setpoint.
