Abstract: An antenna system with co-located dipole antennas with mutually-orthogonal polarization is disclosed herein. The two antennas have planar geometry for the entire antenna and the two antennas are co-located in two mutually-orthogonal planes which provides an antenna solution for wireless communications with high isolation between the two antennas and polarization diversity in a minimum volume occupied. The two antennas operate in the same wireless communications band or in different bands.
Abstract: A heat dissipation system for an antenna assembly for a vehicle is disclosed that provides enhanced heat removal attributes and that provides heat transfer from various components to a heat sink through different heat transfer flow paths to reduce the transfer of heat from high heat producing components to heat sensitive components. Improved heat insulation components can be added to maximize the thermal isolation between heat producing components and to prevent heat transferred from the vehicle into the antenna assembly.
Abstract: An ultra-wideband monopole antenna for 5G application is disclosed comprising a first quarter wavelength conductor and a second quarter wavelength conductor, for transmitting and/or receiving electromagnetic waves. A flat portion of the first quarter wavelength conductor and a flat portion of the second quarter wavelength conductor are preferably arranged and located perpendicular and intersecting to each other. Two curved wings of the first quarter wavelength conductor and two curved wings of the second quarter wavelength conductor are preferably arranged and located concentrically and having a same center. The first and second quarter wavelength conductors are joined to deliver ultra wideband frequency in the range of 600-960 MHz and 1710-6000 MHz.

Each of the first antenna element and the second antenna element has a middle section with a slot therein.
