  • Publication number: 20240062141
Abstract: A method and system to estimate lead time for delivery of a good is disclosed. In aspects, the method performs steps of: receiving a user request to transport the good; identifying a plurality of drivers for transporting the good within a virtual area; determining an expected response time to receive an acceptance of a job corresponding to the user request from a driver in the plurality of drivers; estimating an expected lead time using the expected response time and an expected travel time; and transmitting the expected lead time to the user.

  • Patent number: 11829925
Abstract: Systems and methods of performing logistical management are provided. The logistical management system may receive a request to ship a package from an electronic device associated with a user. The request can include an initial location and information relating to one or more characteristics of the package. In response to receiving the request, electronic data store may be queried to determine a set of possible itineraries for the package. The set of possible itineraries can then be validated against a set of pre-determined rules to produce a subset of itineraries. One of the subset of itineraries can then be chosen.

  • Patent number: 11810051
Abstract: Embodiments are directed towards tracking a package with a tracking device (TD). Embodiments include obtaining a shipping itinerary for the package, receiving a carrier acceptance confirmation indicating the driver has transferred the package to the carrier; receiving a departure confirmation for the segment; receiving, after receiving the departure confirmation, a TD status message including a first location of the package as determined by the TD; and in response to receiving the TD status message after the departure confirmation, issuing a failure to board alert for the package.

  • Patent number: 11748696
Abstract: A computing system for alternate path generation is disclosed. In aspects, the computing system can implement methods to generate the alternate paths by: identifying an optimal path to a destination node on a first graph, generating a path graph, and generating an alternate path sequence based on the path graph. In aspects, the computing system can further generate an interactive graphical user interface (GUI) for displaying the alternate path sequence and transmit the interactive GUI to a display unit for display.

  • Patent number: 11657364
Abstract: A system and methods to facilitate transporting goods is disclosed. In aspects, the system can have a user interface comprising a display, a non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions, and a processor in communication with the non-transitory computer-readable medium and with the display. The instructions can be executed by the processor to process a user request for transporting the good from a pickup location to a destination location. Based on the user request, a preferred route from the pickup location to the destination location can be generated. The transporting can be controlled using a display by modifying a task icon.

  • Patent number: 11443271
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for managing a user request for a transport of good. An embodiment operates by receiving a user request for the transport of the good from a pickup location to a destination location. After receiving the user request, a pickup and destination node is identified from a pre-generated graph of nodes. Subsequently, a transit cost for the pickup location or the destination location is determined. Based on the lowest transit cost, a preferred route among possible routes from the pickup location is generated. Thereafter, a transporter arrival time related to the pickup location and/or an intermediate location is determined based on the preferred route, and a transporter to pick up the good from the pickup location or the intermediate location is assigned and tracked during the transporting of the good.

  • Patent number: 11328245
Abstract: Some embodiments are directed to a computer implemented method for transporting a good. The method may comprise receiving, on a first client device, an electronic user request for transporting the good from a pickup location to a destination location. The electronic user request may include a unique identifier corresponding to the good. The method may include assigning the electronic user request to a transport provider. The method may include authenticating the good, rejecting the good, and authorizing the good for transport when the good is authenticated. The transport provider may capture an image of the good. Authenticating the good may include scanning the captured image to identify features, comparing the unique identifiers to the identified features, and authenticating the good when the unique identifier matches the identified features. The good may be rejected if there is not a match between the unique identifier and the identified goods.

  • Patent number: 11068839
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for selecting a particular eligible transporter for transporting a first good for a first job. An embodiment operates by receiving a request for transporting the good from a pickup location to a delivery location. Thereafter, eligible transporters for transporting the good from the pickup location to a first intermediate location or the delivery location (option one), or from the first intermediate location to a second intermediate location or the delivery location (option two), are identifier. Subsequently, for each eligible transporter, an estimated completion time (ECT) for the transporting of the first good is derived. Based on the ECT for each eligible transporter, a request to transport the good is sent to one of the eligible transporters.
