Patents Assigned to Albert Ackermann GmbH & Co. KG
  • Patent number: 6347956
Abstract: A connector is provided for connecting a cable by insulation-piercing connecting devices when insert elements are pushed together. For connecting a shielded cable, the insert element are provided on a contact element made of conducting material, and the latter are inserted with contact into a shielded housing. The braided shield of the cable is connected with the housing. The insulation-piercing connecting devices are located in insulating bodies that are accommodated in chambers of the housing that are open to the outside. The housing is connected with the contact element by a screw that extends in the plugging direction and operates to make contact.

  • Patent number: 6083014
Abstract: A connector for a shield cable has a braided shield connected by a ring provided at least on the circumference with conducting material. A shielding part of a base housing is provided with plug-in connections, and is adapted to receive wire ends forming contact with the plug-in connections. The ring is a slotted clamping ring which is pressed flexibly against a contact surface of the shielding part that matches its contour and against a recess in a housing part which together with the base housing forms a connector housing.

  • Patent number: 5895286
Abstract: Prior art terminals with operating buttons and a contact member movable against the force of a spring are relatively bulky and complex. It is proposed to provide a part of a curved leaf spring as the contact member having at least one aperture fitted in such a way above the conductor guide that an edge of the aperture acts as the contact member. This design also permits the contacting of thin conductors.
