Abstract: A heatsink to remove heat dissipated by electronic components mounted on a circuit board comprises a thermally conductive material plate disposed over the components and attached by fixing mean near each component. The plate comprises spherical deformations facing the components and each deformation is in thermal contact with the heat source of a respective component.
Abstract: A timing recovery device for receiver installations using oversampling and adaptive equalization in association with differentially coherent demodulation, applicable in particular to receivers operating in diversity mode, derives a transition coding signal from the output signal of the adaptive equalizer. Channel estimator circuits receive this coding signal and digital signals supplied by oversampling devices on the diversity channels. The timing error is calculated from signals supplied by the estimators. The error calculation circuit controls an oscillator which generates a clock signal corresponding to the recovered symbol timing rate.
Abstract: A receiver system processes signals transmitted via a multipath dispersive transmission medium. It includes a device for digitizing the received signals to supply corresponding digital signals. An adaptive digital equalizer responsive to the digital signals supplies information symbols. A symbol-clock signal controls the digitizer and the equalizer. A timing signal recovery device responsive to the digital signals and to the information symbols derives a phase control signal for controlling the phase of the symbol-clock signal.
Abstract: A device for fixing a first element in three dimensions relative to a second element, the device including at least one connecting member extending between two connections. At least one of the connections is constituted by a fixing component of said member and at least one abutment component. The invention is particularly suitable for application to microwave beam transmission.
Abstract: A microwave demodulator for a digital radio link using QAM type modulation, comprising on one path, a first circuit for compensating quadrature error and, on the other path, a second circuit for compensating the delay and temperature variations of the first circuit. The invention is particularly applicable to digital radio beams.
