  • Patent number: 11845407
Abstract: A cart cleaning machine has a foundation, a dock, a movable gantry, and a bellow assembly. The foundation has a cart path spanning the length of the foundation between a first end and a second end. Two side channels are also provided. A dock is stationarily mounted to the foundation. The dock has the shape of an inverted U to allow carts to pass through. The dock has a controller, a water inlet, an electrical hookup, a chemical station, and line management devices. The movable gantry is movable with respect to the foundation. It has a drive mechanism with sprockets that interact with bands spanning between the foundation ends. The gantry has spray nozzles and blow off openings. The bellow assembly is between the dock and the gantry. Water and electric lines pass through the bellow assembly and span between the dock and movable gantry.

  • Patent number: 11383936
Abstract: The present invention relates to an automatic height adjusting manifold, and in particular to a manifold that is adjustable to be located adjacent to a workpiece. A conveyor can have an overhead structure that supports a concealer such as a canopy or removable doors. A sizing device measures the height of a workpiece. The sizing device is outside of the work areas of the machine. A height safety is provided to make sure that no workpieces taller than the measured piece enter the machine. There are liquid bays and blowoff bays within the machine. The blowoff bay has an air knife or other manifold device. A height system is provided and is adjustable to correlate with the measured height at the sizing device. A string potentiometer can be used for an air knife position feedback to the programmable logic controller (PLC).

  • Publication number: 20180111169
Abstract: The present invention relates to a parts washing device including redirectors wherein the redirectors change the direction of a stream of liquid. A fixture or carriage can be provided having a top with a surface including parts supports for supporting parts to be washed. The carriage can have one or more redirectors. Each redirector has a body with a passage with an inlet operable on an inlet axis and an outlet operable on an outlet axis. The outlet axis is oriented different than the inlet axis wherein a stream of water passing through the redirector changes direction. This allows the stream to be directed towards portions of the parts that are otherwise considered blind. Reaching the blind portions of the parts can be accomplished without the need for moving manifolds.

  • Patent number: 9352362
Abstract: The invention has a container that can be a drum of standard size with a drum cover. The cover can have a closable lid secured with a latch, and can have an open lid safety switch. A control assembly adjacent the lid is provided. A solution level gauge and a low fluid shutoff are also provided. Internally, there can be an upper chamber and a lower chamber. The upper chamber is a dual use spray and immersion chamber, and can have spray manifolds therein. The lower chamber is a reservoir chamber that can, but is not required to, house a submersible pump and a heater. A seal can be provided between the upper and lower chambers. The assembly can be removed as a single unit or in segments from the container for cleaning and maintenance.

  • Patent number: 5630435
Abstract: An industrial parts washer having a split canopy for enclosing the processing zones and conveyor system of the washer includes a fixed first section and a selectively removable second section for accessing the internal processing areas of the washer. The removable section of the canopy is optionally constructed as a single piece of material covering all processing zones across the length of the washer, or alternatively the removable section is segmented into two or more subsections which are easily removed and replaced onto the washer by one or two operators. The removable sections of the canopy are releasably attached to the washer with appropriate quick release latches, and the removable section of the canopy is appropriately sealed to the washer to prevent the escape of moisture, steam and chemical contaminants. The canopy is also made of molded fiberglass or plastic materials.
