  • Patent number: 5585121
Abstract: An adjustable shear plate for blow molding equipment wherein the shear steels or plates for cutting off the neck of the blown product, usually a bottle, may be adjustable with respect to each other to compensate for wear and achieve a sharp definitive severance. The adjustable components include a shear plate holder movably mounted upon a top plate or block support, and a slide selectively positionable upon the top plate support is operated by a rotatable cam to position the shear plate holder as desired. Rotation of the cam displaces the slide to engage and adjustably position the shear plate holder and shear plates mounted thereon.

  • Patent number: 4667397
Abstract: A die set assembly for crimp connecting an electrical lead to terminals or the like. The device includes apparatus for cooperatively feeding the length of electrical lead, a length of terminal, and a crimp connector strip, carrying series of crimp connectors. The device further includes apparatus for adjustably positioning a cutter relative to the die set assembly, whereby when the length of electrical lead and crimp connector strip have been positioned in the machine, and the terminal length determined, the machine will crimp a crimp connector, a lead and predetermined length of terminal and sever the crimp connector from the strip and cut a predetermined length of terminal.

  • Patent number: 4611145
Abstract: An indirectly heated cathode structure for use in cathode ray tubes containing a hollow sleeve of cylindrical shape wherein one edge portion of the sleeve is folded outwardly and backwardly around and against the sleeve. A cap having a circular surface surrounded by a circular sidewall is disposed over the folded edge portion of the sleeve. The sidewall contains an annularly shaped ledge extending around an interior surface portion thereof upon which an end of the folded edge portion of the sleeve rests so as to increase the resistance of the cap to push-off forces applied thereto when the sleeve is restrained. A method for forming the foregoing structure is also disclosed.
