The second hook is sized and configured to pass through the first eye of the first hook.

The specialized jack on its own is configured to lift vehicles such as motorbikes and snowmobiles completely off the floor, so that the only support is the jack itself. The specialized jack is also configured to receive a platform component that converts the jack into one suitable for lifting automobiles with a large wheel base that will have two wheels remaining on the floor when lifted. It is further configured to receive a platform component that converts the jack into one suitable for lifting a vehicle with a short wheel base, where the elevated vehicle adopts a large angle of elevation. In all configurations, a novel stabilizing structure is provided.

In the first position, the drive shank of the screwdriver is positioned parallel with the elongate handle. A first mounting element connected to the first end and a second mounting element connected to the second end. A first holder element rotatably attached by a first pin to the first mounting element is provided, wherein the first holder is capable of rotating at least 180 degrees about the first pin, the first holder element defining a first opening and a second opening. The first opening receives a first socket and a second socket, and the second opening receives a third socket and a fourth socket. A first ratcheting means is attached to the first holder element and is configured to control torque direction of the first socket and the second socket, and a second ratcheting means is attached to the first holder element and is configured to control torque direction of the third socket and the fourth socket.

Abstract: A compact tape measure is described that includes novel and useful features that allow a spring retractable tape measure to occupy a compact space. Specifically, the tape measure of the invention configures at least one flat coil return spring to be located alongside, and not in the same plane as, a flat coiled tape measure blade, thereby permitting a reduction in the dimension of the tape measure taken along a diameter of the coiled tape blade, and at the same time expanding the width of the tape measure to provide a tape measure with more compact characteristics than tape measures that are elongate and narrow.

Abstract: A knife is described that is capable of extending a blade from a front end of the blade, and subsequently retracting the blade into the body of the knife. Actuation of the blade from extended to retracted conditions is accomplished by way of an actuation element located external to the knife. A user may strike the knife backwards onto a work surface to extend the blade and, subsequently, to retract the blade. The same action by the user may be used to achieve the extended and the retracted blade condition.
