Abstract: A rotor assembly for centrifuging reaction vessels containing reaction mixtures in a device for asymmetric heating and cooling of reaction mixtures during centrifugation. The rotor contains at least one fan blade used to force ambient gas to pass the reaction mixture. Also provided is a device for asymmetric heating and cooling of reaction mixtures during centrifugation.
