Abstract: A portable apparatus for the treatment of injuries includes a first layer of flexible material and a second layer of flexible material coupled to the first layer of flexible material to form an inflation chamber. A third layer of flexible material is coupled to the first and second layers so that a space is formed between the second and third layers. The space formed between the second and third layers is in fluid communication with the inflation chamber at an outlet and the space between the second and third layers is formed so that a fluid channel extends from a first end of the space between the second and third layers to the outlet. A plurality of spacer members maintain the separation between the second and third layers so that the fluid channel remains unobstructed even when the apparatus is folded or wrapped around an injured area.
