  • Patent number: 7588207
Abstract: An assembly for lifting a reel of cable above the floor and supporting it for easy rotation, uses two frame members slidably and pivotably coupled to each other. The first frame has a stop for engaging the periphery of a reel and the second frame or trolley is pivotally and slidably coupled to the first frame via a toggle mechanism. The trolley is pivoted out of the way to a first position to permit a cable reel to engage the stop member of the first frame and then pivoted back to a second position to capture the reel within a cable reel receiving channel in the trolley. The receiving channel has a pivot end near the first frame and a reel-engaging stop member near the opposite end of the channel. The toggle mechanism levers the second frame in sliding relation toward the first frame to capture and lift the reel between the stop members of the first frame and the trolley. The stop members have rotary features and a motor driven assist to rotate one of them for facilitating rotation of the reel.

  • Patent number: 6978944
Abstract: There is provided a reversible spray tip unit for an airless spray gun having an axially rotatable cylindrically shaped turret member with the spray tip nozzle arranged in a diametric fluid bore therein, the turret member being disposed in a complementary shaped bore of a housing and arranged transverse to the flow of paint, and a saddle seal received axially in the housing and having a cylindrically shaped sealing face mating with the cylindrical shape of the turret member at the diametric fluid bore housing the spray tip nozzle. Upon assembly of the disassembled reversible spray tip unit, the saddle seal is quickly inserted into the housing and accurately oriented so that its sealing face is aligned with the cylindrically shaped bore in the housing for the turret member by means of an insertion/orientation tool which is adapted to be keyed to the fluid bore of the saddle seal.

  • Patent number: 6899400
Abstract: A wheel for a motorcycle, bicycle, or other wheeled vehicle includes first and second wheel sections that are bolted or otherwise assembled together over an independently rotatable spinner component. Each wheel section has a hub portion, a rim portion, and a spoke portion such that the two hub portions form a combined hub portion of the motorcycle wheel, the two rim portions form a combined rim portion of the motorcycle wheel, and the two spoke portions form a combined spoke portion of the motorcycle wheel. The two spoke portions define an interior space between them. The spinner component is mounted rotatably on the combined hub portion of the wheel assembly in the interior space between the first and second spoke portions for freewheel rotation about the rotational axis independent of the rest of the wheel.

  • Patent number: 6838426
Abstract: The present invention is a sprayable gel cleaning composition and a method of making said sprayable gel cleaning composition. The gel stays on the stained surface until it is wiped off, unlike non-gelatinous compositions that have a very short surface contact time. The active agents of the sprayable gel cleaning composition are in contact with the stain for a longer period of time than other cleaners. The sprayable gel cleaning composition can be used to remove household and industrial spots and stains that are present on walls, cabinets, stove tops, doors, and trim. In addition, this invention can be used to clean concrete and brick, and remove caulk and paint from surfaces, as well as remove bug and tar stains present on automobiles, trucks, and other machinery and surfaces. The gelatinous composition may be water-based or solvent-based.
