Patents Assigned to Amper S.A.
  • Patent number: 5347924
Abstract: Device for printing endorsements on documents passing through a document processing apparatus. The device comprises a rotatable outer housing having a cylindrically shaped exterior surface and a ring gear having a toothed first part and a toothless second part. A stamp for printing endorsements and at least one band having digits or characters thereon form a substantially continuos surface with the exterior surface of the outer housing. When the endorsing device is rotated by a pinion meshing with the ring gear, the digits or characters, as well as the stamp, contact a document passing through the document processing apparatus. During the rotation of the outer housing, further rotation is prevented by an arm which engages a projection on the outer housing and biasing means which biases the arm into locked engagement with the projection. When the arm engages the projection, the pinion is unable to rotate the outer housing as the toothless part of the ring gear is now facing the pinion.

The device comprises a rotatable outer housing having a cylindrically shaped exterior surface and a ring gear having a toothed first part and a toothless second part. A stamp for printing endorsements and at least one band having digits or characters thereon form a substantially continuous surface with the exterior surface of the outer housing. • Patent number: 4986523
Abstract: A stack of documents to be supplied to a processing device rest on at least one pull wheel for pulling the documents towards the processing device. A pushing element exerts a constant and uniform force which pushes the stack of documents against the pull wheel. The pull wheel pulls the documents towards a guide. The guide, which is configured such that only one document is permitted to pass through to the processing device, includes a first roller with three toric projections mounted thereon on one side of the guide and a pair of rollers with two toric projections mounted therebetween on the other side of the guide. As the direction of the rollers on opposite sides of the guide rotate in different directions and as the force of rotation of the single first roller is greater than the force of rotation of the two second rollers, the toric projections mounted on opposite sides of the guide will only permit documents to pass therebetween one at a time.

  • Patent number: 4927031
Abstract: A device for sorting documents exiting a document processor such as a document reader or document printer includes at least one document guide which defines an undeflected document travel path and a document bin which includes a series of compartments for receiving sorted documents. Each document guide will alternately permit the documents to travel along the undeflected document travel path to a first document bin or to deflect such documents in first or second deflected document travel paths to compartments of second document bins. By selectively deflecting documents entering the document guide, previously processed documents may be sorted according to document type. Each document guide is comprised of first and second concave guide parts mounted side by side to define an undeflected document travel path therebetween and first and second convex guide parts mounted outside the concave guide parts. The concave guide parts each have a concavely curved outer side.

  • Patent number: 4310724
Abstract: A current detector circuit, preferably for use in telephone equipment, to detect the on-hook and off-hook conditions of of such equipment, includes two equal transformers which have primary coils mounted in series and secondary coils mounted in series opposition, but in series with a circuit within which it is desired to detect the current. The primary coils constitute the load of the collector of an NPN transistor. Such collector is connected by means of a resistor to the base of a PNP transistor.

  • Patent number: 4251697
Abstract: A keypad for telephones includes a case composed of two parts. One part has slots for mounting and guiding keys. The keys are arranged such that each causes the closure of two contacts which are fitted onto a substrate mounted inside the case. The contacts are installed with the assistance of a number of modular supports, each of which consists of two independent elements that are fastened together and, when joined define a means for positioning the contacts pertaining to the adjacent modular support. Means provided on the keys to cause two simultaneous closures includes two identical protuberances which are integral with the keys and protrude from diametrically opposite points of the respective bases. The keys have a positioning mechanism to restore them to their idle position, including pushing elements with an elastic action which react against the substrate where the contacts are fitted.
